I bought one of these drives yesterday at Tesco - £39.97 - what a bargain, in the big electrical stores its well over 50 quid...
However, when I plugged it in and tried it out I discovered that it reads as a 149GB drive. Thinking that meant it was faulty, I returned it to the store and made an exchange (that was painless, so kudos to Tesco!).
The thing is, the new one reads as the exact same 149GB! So whats that all about? I'd be interested in the experience of others or any explanations offered. Is it from a duff batch or are there technicals reasons for it reporting less than 160Gb when connected...
With regard to the rest of the other guy's review, I agree completely - it is dead easy to use, small and lightwieght. Quite cute actually - if electronics can be cute!
Hell, at that price 149GB increases my storage so much that the missing 11GB isn't such a big issue for me... but it does make me wonder about the reality of advertised specs vs. real actual specs...

Hadn't noticed the lack of 11Gb . will ask my more computer knowledgeable sons if they know.
