I've tried most concealers on the market, but I was yet to find one I liked that could be used on both under eye circles and spots. I've been using two separate ones for a while, Light reflecting for under my eyes and medicated for any spots I get. After my No 7 concealers died (the undereye one ran out and the blemish one snapped!), I thought 'Right, I better find something decent that does both jobs!' So off to Boots I went, where I discovered the treasure that is Maybelline Everfresh concealer.
Looks: It looks completely different to the one in the picture as the range has been updated since then. It comes in a lipgloss style tube with a clear main part (good for seeing when you're about to run out!) and a silver lid. It has a silver swirly design on the clear bit and Maybelline EverFresh concealer written in navy blue. Then on the back, it just has Maybelline's address also in navy blue. There is a sticker on the lid, that you can pull back to reveal the ingredients. On the top of the lid it says EverFresh concealer, the code and the colour. I got light beige as I'm rather pale, but medium beige is also available. On unscrewing the lid, I find another similarity to lipgloss, as the concealer has a sponge applicator like you'd find in a lipgloss tube. It doesn't really have a smell.
How to use: I use this after my foundation but before my loose powder. I find it's best to wipe the excess back into the tube so you don't use too much. I just lightly dab the wand onto any spots and the skin under my eyes, and blend it in with a gentle patting motion. It's not good to rub as you'll rub it off!
So, does it work?; A resounding yes! I find with most concealers that after around 4 hours they seem to have vanished completely. So, the ultimate test was checking after this amount of time: So, a quick inspection in the mirror showed that it was all still there and my skin still looked clear. Fab!! I think that even with daily use a tube will last a couple of months. And for £4.99 for 7.5ml, it's excellent value.
Ok, on closer inspection of the sticker you peel back on the lid, I find that it contains camomile, aloe and various fruit extracts. Maybe this is why it didn't dry out my skin and look all cakey! I'd definitely reccommend this to anyone that wants a good, long-lasting concealer that won't break the bank.

Excellent concealer
Review of Maybelline Concealer by
crazyforyou12
Advantages: Very good coverage, long lasting, doesn't aggravate skin
Disadvantages: None I can think of
...changed - it's actually called Maybelline EverFresh concealer now, stockists will tell you that the old version has been discontinued, but EverFresh is exactly the same product with a new name and package. Just remember to remove it before you sleep - like with all makeup - as it is concealer, and WILL stop your body from regulating its natural body temperature at night through sweating - it won't do your skin any good to leave it on when you sleep.

Dark circles? What dark circles???
Review of Maybelline Concealer by
makeupAHOLIC
Advantages: Cheap, lightweight, easy to use, none-cakey
Disadvantages: doesnt cover spots well
...I arrived there to the Maybelline section I was at first quite dissappointed as it only had two shades of this and for an asian (south east asia...nowhere near china or japan) it seemed to be quite light so I chose the darker one and bought it. It costs about £5 but it may be cheaper in stores such as Superdrug. Surprisingly when I tried it on...it was perfect for my skin and it made my dark circles disappear immediately. It also lasted for quite ... ...I tried to use the maybelline everfresh concealer on my spots...not a vry gud result let me tell u...did not cover them at all.
So basically I recommend this product for concealing dark circles but not spots as this is cheap, non drying, easy to use (did i mention that it was in a lipgloss-y packaging?) and concealed the under eye area quite well. ...

Throw away that paper bag!
Review of Maybelline Concealer by
Milan
Advantages: No need for foundation
Disadvantages: Sets Quickly
Having scoured the earth for a concealer which was able to provide real coverage and still look natural, I was amazed to discover that Maybelline's concealer actually did this. Over the years I must have tried at least 10 different concealers and have never found one which has such a good consistancy, looks natural and really covers. It works equally well on both spots and dark circles and unfortunatley I suffer from both more often than I'd like ... ...you have to work quickly with it as it sets on your skin (fantastic)! It lasts all day and stays fresh and natural looking. Before using this product I used to have to reapply concealer at lunch times now I dont have to worry about it any more and I have even ditched my foundation! Brilliant product, highly reccommended! ...

bargain!
Review of Maybelline Concealer by
merlina
Advantages: inexpensive and effective
Disadvantages: none really
Few inexpensive cosmetics truly impress me, and this is one of the exceptions. I like it for the fact that it is densely pigmented enough to actaully conceal whatever it is you're trying to hide and also that, inlike most cheapies, it's not at all greasy. It comes with a sponge wand applicator, so is not really hygienic to use on spots, and is perhaps not best forumlated for those with dry skin. Apart from that it's very easy to use and blend and ...

Consider it concealed
Review of Maybelline Concealer by
peewee208
Advantages: covers brilliantly
Disadvantages: dosnt last as long
...i do own are a maybelline concealer and lip-gloss. Im partial to the odd spot and blemish so its really handy to just dab on anywhere and blends in suprisingly well to my normal skin tones. Unlike alot of concealers (and believe me, ive tried alot) maybelline does not look thick and cakey, and isnt bright orange when you apply it. However it doesnt last all day which is a bit of a pity, so touching my face up twice a day is usually my average doing. ...
