I haven't been around much lately, as I recently broke up with my fiance after 6 years. I'm hoping to be back to writing reviews soon though.

I've tried most concealers on the market, but I was yet to find one I liked that could be used on both under eye circles and spots. I've been using two separate ones for a while, Light reflecting for under my eyes and medicated for any spots I get. After my No 7 concealers died (the undereye one ran out and the blemish one snapped!), I thought 'Right, I better find something decent that does both jobs!' So off to Boots I went, where I discovered the treasure that is Maybelline Everfresh concealer.
Looks: It looks completely different to the one in the picture as the range has been updated since then. It comes in a lipgloss style tube with a clear main part (good for seeing when you're about to run out!) and a silver lid. It has a silver swirly design on the clear bit and Maybelline EverFresh concealer written in navy blue. Then on the back, it just has Maybelline's address also in navy blue. There is a sticker on the lid, that you can pull back to reveal the ingredients. On the top of the lid it says EverFresh concealer, the code and the colour. I got light beige as I'm rather pale, but medium beige is also available. On unscrewing the lid, I find another similarity to lipgloss, as the concealer has a sponge applicator like you'd find in a lipgloss tube. It doesn't really have a smell.
How to use: I use this after my foundation but before my loose powder. I find it's best to wipe the excess back into the tube so you don't use too much. I just lightly dab the wand onto any spots and the skin under my eyes, and blend it in with a gentle patting motion. It's not good to rub as you'll rub it off!
So, does it work?; A resounding yes! I find with most concealers that after around 4 hours they seem to have vanished completely. So, the ultimate test was checking after this amount of time: So, a quick inspection in the mirror showed that it was all still there and my skin still looked clear. Fab!! I think that even with daily use a tube will last a couple of months. And for £4.99 for 7.5ml, it's excellent value.
Ok, on closer inspection of the sticker you peel back on the lid, I find that it contains camomile, aloe and various fruit extracts. Maybe this is why it didn't dry out my skin and look all cakey! I'd definitely reccommend this to anyone that wants a good, long-lasting concealer that won't break the bank.
