A Dream Come True?

Advantages: Covers for an exceptionally long time, feels really light while on
Disadvantages: not really for dry skin, easily comes off,not waterproof

...feeling when I started using Maybelline 'Wonder Finish' but after using this I realise it was still clogging my face up quite a bit. It's a really nice feeling when you know your skin can actually breathe. I don't even realise I have any foundation on after I've applied this and that makes me really at ease with myself because theres nothing worse than feeling your foundation and worrying whether you have lines or tell tale signs that it's there. ...
...Shades

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse comes in eight different shades and you should find one that is best for you. The shades are:

* Ivory - A light shade that will suit fair skin
* Cameo - A medium shade
* Nude - The one I have and it suits pale skin
* Sand - A slightly darker shade that will still suit medium skin
* Fawn - A shade best suitable for tanned skin probably
* Sun Beige ... more

I WASNT BORN WITH IT! Its Maybelline.

Advantages: too many to mention here
Disadvantages: it rubs off and it aint waterproof! sadly : (

...thing to it is the Maybelline Dream Mouse with no exceptions what so ever. I have tried the body shop concieler and that was the best one before I met Maybelline, until I found that they stopped selling my colour in every outlet I could find and travel to. I was so disappointed at the fact the body shop has no colour foundation or concealer available to match my skin colour, and I am not an exceptionally dark skinned person. The best thing I thought ...

Get the skin you always dreamed of!

Mousse for me

Advantages: Matt finish, good coverage, reasonably priced
Disadvantages: Doesn't last all day

Having run out of my favourite foundation, and preferring a matt coverage for evening (good wrinkle concealer) I thought it was worth giving this a go. It is apparently the UKs number one foundation (I presume in sales) so I wanted to know what it was like ~~The promise~~ This magic “revolutionary” formula is supposed to give an air soft perfect matte finish with a weightless feel; this surprises me because I never realised that foundation felt ...
...pigments give superior coverage which provides soft natural looking, even toned skin. Once again, the promises interest me, because again, we have a product promising perfection with minimum effort, and as ever, there seems to be breakthrough technology…another revolutionary product. Surely they can’t all be revolutionary! ~~The Product~~ The mousse comes in a small pot with a screw cap lid. I like pots because unlike tubes of foundation, I can ...

It's definitely Maybelline!

Advantages: Comes in a shade that suits me, little goes a long way, good coverage
Disadvantages: Not as many shades available in the UK as the US, slightly drying on my skin

...a smidgen too dark, but Maybelline have provided well, with Ivory, Cameo and Nude all being on the pale end of the scale. Sand, Fawn and Sun Beige all look a medium shade, while Caramel and Cocoa are more suitable for darker skin shades. It's worth mentioning that there are more shades available in the US (12 v 8), so if there isn't one in the UK for you, it might be worth picking some up while you're there, or getting a friend to on your behalf. ...
...different to anything I've come across before. It's definitely a mousse, with the same look and feel as one that you'd eat. This means that it doesn't run down as you apply it, but it does feel rather strange on your fingers. It's easy to apply, and you only need a tiny bit to get good coverage. I use a foundation brush to apply it, which makes it really easy to blend, especially along the jaw line, notorious for showing a tide mark if you're not ...

Lives up to the hype!

Advantages: easy to apply, great finish, natural look
Disadvantages: useless on dry skin

When Maybelline dream matte mousse first came onto the market, the advertising campaign behind it was huge. Most women couldn't help but notice it. There were the TV ads, the glossy magazine adverts, and of course all those make-up artists you see on lifestyle programmes, shouting about how brilliant it was. This product is a foundation, produced by Maybelline New York, which has been air-whipped to produce a mousse, rather than the usual liquid ...
...used another product from the Maybelline mousse range and not liked it, don't let that stop you from trying the foundation. ~Packaging~ The foundation comes in a glass pot, with a plastic screw off lid, matching the colour tone of the product inside. The glass pot is quite heavy and also bulky, which makes it quite inconvenient to carry around. The packaging is OK - pleasant to the eye, but nothing special at all. ~Using the product~ The product ...

Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush

Advantages: Great Product from a trusted brand.
Disadvantages: The glitter might be too much for some.

Not being a real fan on Maybellines Dream Matte Mousse Foundation I'm not too sure what made me purchase the Dream Mousse Blush. Unlike my other impulse buys, this wasn't on offer nor were Boots offering me points when I bought it, but somehow this little pot of loveliness found it's way into my basket. :: The Product :: Maybelline's Dream Mousse Blush is the perfect addition to the Maybelline's Dream Collection. The Dream collection is a 'revolutionary' air-whipped product that promises to give you a natural radiant look, with perfect coverage and that satin-soft feel we all love. The Dream Blush comes in 6 (I think) shades, ranging from Pink Frosting to Coffee Cake. So every girls perfect blush colour is covered. The shade I bought is 01 Dolly Pink. :: The Packaging :: Dream Mousse comes in the typical packaging ...

Brilliant blusher from Maybelline!

Advantages: Cheap, blends very easily, gives cheeks a glow!
Disadvantages: Doesn't come in many shades, may be unsuitable for dry skin.

After trying (and failing) many different blushers, I decided to try Dream Mousse Blush by Maybelline as I found the Dream Matte Mousse foundation (also by Maybelline) to be a very good foundation, I wanted to see if the blusher lived up to its standards. I popped into my local Boots and purchased Dream Mousse Blush in 01 Dolly Pink for a reasonable price of £6.84, other shades available are... 05 Plum 04 Mauve 06 Brown 20 Peach Satin Dream mousse blush can be brought in stores nationwide, but it can also be brought online from Boots and Superdrug. The blusher was contained inside a little glass pot with a screw top lid, when I first opened the pot I was met with a, well mousse! looking blush. When applying the blusher to my cheeks, it felt virtually weightless on my finger and had a soft whipped like texture to it. I started ...

Not so dreamy

Advantages: messy, difficult to apply
Disadvantages: strangely moist texture

I had been using Maybelline's Dream matte mousse foundation for a few months and liked it, so I decided to give their dream mousse eyecolor a try. ~About the range~ Maybelline make a variety of make-up products, which are air whipped to form a mousse. The products available in this range include foundations, blushers, eye colour, and shimmer. The eye shadows come in a limited amount of colours -approximately eight- and the one I bought is called 'Merveille Caramel' a bronze, shimmery colour. ~Packaging~ Similar to the foundation and other mousse make-up products in the maybelline range, this eye colour comes in a glass pot, and the plastic lid matches the colour of the mousse inside. The glass pot makes it fairly heavy and quite bulky to carry around, but overall I don't think the packaging is too bad. One point to note is ...
