For those of you who have read my other reviews I’m sure you’ll agree that I’m eyeshadow crazy! Personally I don’t think I would have got round to buying the Maybelline Dream Mousse eye colour myself because the ‘mousse’ part made it all sound so difficult. I received a pink eye colour as a gift so if it wasn’t for my sister I would never have tried it at all!
The Price Well I’m not exactly sure how much mine cost but I know they sell for around £6. It does sound acceptable but the glass effect of the casing hides the true amount in there, which isn’t really a lot, clever Maybelline! You’ll find these colours in most shops, they seem to be pretty popular!
The Container It comes in a small round glass (well its probably plastic or some other material that looks like glass) tub with a plastic screw on lid in the same colour as the eye shadow. It does look very nice and is quite different from the usual eye shadow casing by other brands.
The Eyeshadow It very hard to apply with an applicator brush, it’s too thick and by the time you’ve put enough onto the brush and got rid of the lumps you’ve already missed your taxi! In my opinion it’s best applied with your finger. It feels very nice when your applying it, the mousse effect makes it feel very smooth but when it’s ‘drying’ it feels sticky and uncomfortable. The colour does last and I was surprised to find after drying it didn’t smudge off but I would still prefer the good old powdered eye colour.
I've used this before, but I'm not too keen on it - all too messy for me

Great review. You make some very good points about this product and your explanation of it is excellent. However, i feel that there is alot more information about this Maybelline product that you could include. Dave
