Maybelline Eyerfresh Concealer

Let me start off by explaining my skin type. I have skin which seems to start out dry in the morning and get oily very quickly. I am also prone to spots and used to suffer from acne so have acne scars in various places on my face.

According to the packaging it is non-comodogenic so won't clog pores, and is oil free.It also claims to be long lasting and be able to cover blemishes and undereye circles. I bought this full of hope, the packaging made it sound great!

I don't think this is too hygeinic as it means you are constantly putting bacteria and germs back into the make-up. I bought it from Superdrug fora reasonable price, and was quite impressed with the colour choice, it didn't seem as limited as some concealers that I've used. According to the packaging it is non-comodogenic so won't clog pores, and is oil free.It also claims to be long lasting and be able to cover blemishes and undereye circles. I bought this full of hope, the packaging made it sound great!

Unfortunately.... it just wasn't for me. When I applied the make-up, it seemed very thin and watery, and didn't do a very good job at all of covering spots and blemishes. A couple of hours later and you couldn't tell that I'd ever put concealer on them, they were just as bad as before I applied it. I also found that the wand applicator wasn't very accurate because it was quite big. The concealer made me feel greasy where I'd applied it and made me shiny. It worked a little better on undereye blemishes, but i don't have extremely dark circles, just the normal. However, I was again disappointed by the staying power of this product, and if I applied more during the day it looked a bit caked on and made my undereye look a bit creased and crepey.

Overall this product just didn't do what it claimed it would, it didn't cover blemishes very well, didn't last for very long, and made my skin greasy. I wouldn't consider buying this product again.
