I applied it under my bottom eyelashes, and it wasn't so dry that it dragged the skin, and it wasn't so creamy that it went everywhere either. It gave me a natural looking finish, and I was impressed, which is a feat in itself!
It lasted very well throughout the day, even in rain without fading or smudging. I watched Pearl Harbor though, later in the evening, and by the end it had smudged badly and I resembled a panda... ... more
I had run out of my usual Boots 17 Perfect Definition eyeliner, and being a creature of habit, thought I would try a new one, as I wasn't entirely happy with my 17 one, and the only redeeming feature was the price!
This one looked fairly good - it claims to be waterproof and virtually budge-proof. It cost £3.99 which is more than I'd usually pay for an eyeliner but nonetheless, it looked very promising! There are a wide range of colours, and I choose Cinnabar, a dark brown.

However, the eye pencil glided on really well. I applied it under my bottom eyelashes, and it wasn't so dry that it dragged the skin, and it wasn't so creamy that it went everywhere either. It gave me a natural looking finish, and I was impressed, which is a feat in itself!

This is really good. It may not be 100% waterproof, but I'm sticking with it, as even so, it lasts longer than any other eye pencil I've tried!
...My main consideration for buying Maybelline was due to the fact that it is not a traditional wood pencil eye liner, the eye liner its self is contained in a plastic pen and to gain more of the liner you just twist and hey presto more eye liner. definetly beats faffing around with a pencil sharpener.
The eye liner itself is very easy to apply, no dragging with this one, definetion lines are so much neater and it really does last for ages. The eye ...

Advantages: No sharpener needed, really obvious lines Disadvantages: Murder to get off!
I've always hated eye liners as they are impossible to apply and impossible to remove, but i just love the way they look when applied properly. So my quest for the perfect product started. Now i'm not saying the quest is finished, this is no wonder product but i'm a lot closer to the mystery eyes i want.
I bought this eye liner from Asda (how convenient!) and it cost £3.99 for 200mg (net weight). As advised by an article in a mag i throw my eye ... ...had some left in it, after daily use!
There are a few colours out there but i don't really like any colour other than pure black; 01 Onyx. If you are going to bother with eye liner you may as well go the whole hog. The lines it produces are great and you can really aceive the smoky look if you blend with a cotton bud, or leave it neat for a knock out look! Purr.....
The packaging is ok, a plastic 'pen' which you twist to reveal the liner. So you ...

Advantages: It lasts and lasts Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...I don't normally like Maybelline makeup - except this! Its great. I go for boring black, but you can get it in charcoal grey, brown and blue too. The first thing you notice is that its not acutally a pencil. Its like a propelling pencil that you might have had at school. You simply twist it up as you need it. It never needs sharpening and you don't run the risk of horrible wood splinters (nasty). It applies really smoothly over eyeshadow and you ... ...also its easy to put it on delicately for under your eyes. I used to have to take my eyeliner to work and re-apply it around lunchtime, but not this one. It really stays all day. Another bonus point is that it really is "waterproof" as it states. I get terribly watery eyes around the hayfever season, but this doesn't run at the corners of my eyes like almost every other brand I've tried.
I really like this, it's reasonably priced and it lasts ages. ...

Advantages: stay on all day Disadvantages: a bit price but worth it
I bought this brand because my usual brand of eyeliner suddenly started to make my eye's water so I shopped around and this is the best eyeliner I have used so far, ever!!
It doesn't make my eye's water and it stays on for ages.

I use the black one but there are several colours to choose from if your more adventurous than me,:)
I paid around 4 pounds for mine which is slightly more ...

...forever, i finally came across Maybelline Great Wear Waterproof eyeliner priced at £3.99 in many different shades of black, brown, green, blue and grey. Although i ususally don't pay this much for eyeliner, i thought that if it did what it said, it would be a good investment. The one thing i really liked about this eyeliner, even before i tried it on was the fact that it didn't need sharpening. The eyeliner is incased in a plastic pen and when more ... ...When i got home, i removed all my eye makeup and decided to test drive this eyeliner. First impressions were that it's *very* easy to apply and the colour is dark and bold (:) great!). But would it live upto what it advertised?
Within three hours the eyeliner was beginning to smudge already, due to my watery eyes (and i thought it was waterproof?!?). However, my mum also owns this eyeliner and she is more than happy with this product (but then again ...
