...ago, I surprised that the Maybelline Roller Color Eye Shadow had past by un-noticed. How I'm not sure, must have been the confusion of Christmas. Anyway, I obviously needed one; it was just a matter of selecting which one.
The container
Maybelline Roller Color Eye shadow comes in a glass tube about 4 inches long. It has a screw on silver cap, and the glass is covered with a clear cellophane wrapper stating the name ... ...to make it look like it shimmers.
The shades
This eye shadow comes in the following shades:
Roller Rink Pink
Twirling Taupe
In line Ice
Green Twist
On the ball Blue
On track Lilac
Steel Wheeling
Spin Around Brown
All of the shades are vibrant, and have lots of sparkling glitter in them!
Anything new or gimmicky on the make-up front....I'm there. Where it comes to make-up or hair, I'm as girly girl as they come!! Put it in a shiny new container, or add a whole new way of application, and I'm waiting outside the store when it opens to get my hands upon the latest 'NEED' for my make-up box.

The design.
Basically, how this eye shadow differs from all the others on the market is how it is applied. The eye shadow, which is a loose powder, is contained in the glass tube. At the top of the tube is a small (about pea size) plastic ball.
What you do it unscrew the lids, and apply the eye shadow by rolling the ball over your eyelid.
I tried out all of the colours on the back of my hand, and they came out with the same ease as ink would come out of a market pen. Great! Most of the eye shadow I own are pinks, lilacs and silvers that I mix up and wear for my nights out. Rather than buying another of exactly the same, I elected for the Twirling Taupe, which is a light fawn-ey colour, which would be ideal for work.
Today is my first day of wearing it, and it has to be said, I am sorely disappointed.
Firstly, and this is probably my own fault, but I can hardly see the colour. I can see some sparkles from the glitter, but not enough for me to think I have my eye shadow on.
Secondly, and most importantly, all I can say is OUCH!!! Oh my god, my eyes are not designed to have balls rolled over them!! Whereas it was fine applying this eye shadow to test it on the back of my hands, it was not quite as easy putting it on my eyes! My eyes are far tenderer, and as such I cant put any pressure on them. The eye shadow barely came out.
My overall impression of this make-up is, it really is nothing more than a gimmick. I won't be using it again, unless I can break my way into the tube somehow and put the loose powder into another pot, and apply the colour the way it was intended to be applied - with a brush.
I have never been a fan of Maybelline, I have always found that their make-up needs to be re-applied too often, or the nail varnish chips. This will certainly be the last time I invest in one of their products.

...new eye shadow made by Maybelline so I thought I would give it a go.
The eye shadow is called “Roller Color” It was available in five colours: -
Twirling Taupe.
Green Twist.
On the ball blue.
Steel wheeling.
Spin around brown.
I cost in Superdrug £4.99 for one small tube.
I thought I would try “On the ball blue”. The eye shadow in side was a loose powder; the colour was rich and quite sparkly. It comes in a small plastic bottle with a roller ... ...roll on deodorant. It also has a snap on lid. The little bottle is about the size around of a five pence piece around and it is about three inches long. It seems a very handy size to pop into your handbag.
When I came to try it. I found it a bit difficult to open. It is sealed with plastic film with a little strip that you have to rip off. I found this quite difficult to get hold of. Any one with problems with their hands wouldn’t be able to open ...

...a look.
It is Maybelline Roller Color, which comes in a glass bottle with a screw top lid, standing about 3 inches tall. It is in a cylinder shape bollte.
On unscrewing the lid (tester pot of course), a roller ball is discovered, on rolling it over the back of my hand nothing happened, so tapped it on the back of my hand and it started to work.
It comes out evenly, and has a shimmer/gliimer to it, which is of a white, cream colour. It is priced ... ...of this type.
I decided to buy it, take it home and try it out for when i go out this evening.......................................................................................................

Advantages: NO ONE Disadvantages: IMPOSSIBLE TO USE
When I saw the ad on Tv , I was very interested by the product.
I ound very easy to use and wanted to buy it.
The retail cost is about £5 but I bought it brand new on Ebay at £2.5
I bought the "Bowling blue" eye shadow.
The item is composed of a tube that contains powder and a ball that supplies the powder.
The problem is that the boll desn't roll very well at first.
So, it's very hard to put it on the eyelid.
Moreover the ball supllies a ... ...it several times to make up your eyelids.
It also hurts because of the plastic ball.
After using, you don't seem to be maked up unless you look at your eyes very closely.
SoI wanted to use the powder with my fingers, but you can't open the tube.
This means that I have the roller eye shadow for 6 months and it's almost full.
Buy a classic eye shadow, you will be more happy. ...
