Advantages: Powerful Suction Disadvantages: A bit on the heavy side
Maytag U5288
Our very basic Hover model had given up the ghost and retired to that vacuum haven that all old and out of suck vacuum?s go to. It?s poor lung?s were so full of dust and sand that one morning when I plugged her in, she just made a wheezing, whirring, coughing noise and died right there in front of my eyes. Now over the grief, we realised that a replacement was badly in need and off to our local Carrefour store we went to see what we could find.
The selection was rather limited with most being the cylinder type. I can tell you I just don?t like these models, not sure why but they give me the feeling that you should be going WALKIES with them and not hovering a home. Anyway I had the choice of 2 uprights, first being another rather basic Hoover model and I couldn?t bring myself to kill another one as I knew it just wasn ...

It is easy to use, with lots of programmes. It has a low salt and low rinse aid indicator.
It has an economy programme as well as all the usual programmes that you would expect for a top of the range dishwasher.
About a year ago it suddenly started tripping the electric off and we needed to get an engineer. I bought the machine on line and I looked up Maytag and phoned them, they then arranged for a firm of engineers to send someone round. The engineer arrived, tried the dishwasher but it was fine, so said he couldn't do anything but let Maytag know if it happened again. He noticed ...
