Mazda 323 1.3

At first glance it looks quite sporty (looks almost te same as the focus because Mazda are owned by Ford) and looks much more daring than the simalarly priced Toyota Corolla. It also has a much nicer colour trim with blue velour seats which are extremely comfortable. ...

Reliability:
Japanese cars last forever and do not rust for at least 10 years. The only slight reliability problem could come from the fact that it is now owned by Ford but it should't really.

Practcality:
I have used it mostly for short shopping trips so have not ... more

It also has a much nicer colour trim with blue velour seats which are extremely comfortable. The dash doesn't look amazing but is designed to be used and not looked at. I think there is a new model coming out later this year with new front headlights so you may wish to wait for this.

Practcality:
I have used it mostly for short shopping trips so have not loaded it fully but it has 60/40 split folding seats and a large boot. The front passenger seat can be folded to provide a picnic table. There is also the best drinks holder I have ever used and many small cubby holes for all your clutter.

Safety:
It has twin airbags as standard and a three point safety belt in the center of the rear seats. It also feels very rigid unlike the Toyta Corolla.

Extras:
It came with a blaupunkt radio/cassette which has RDS(Radio Data System) and gives excellent quality sound from the four speakers. It also has headrests for everybody for extra comfort.

Power:
With a 1.3 litre engine you can't expect too much performance but it is surprisingly spritely and also gives 40mpg which is excellent.

Overall:
If you are looking at a Focus or Corolla I would recommend you take a look at this as it is not Mr/Mrs Averages new car it is a cut above the rest and I would say better value.
