    This is actually my mums V reg car but she is computer illiterate so I am writing this as if it were my own. This is my first Mazda and will probably be the first of many. I have only had it for a year and a half and have had no problems with it so far. Appearance: At first glance it looks quite sporty (looks almost te same as the focus because Mazda are owned by Ford) and looks much more daring than the simalarly priced Toyota Corolla.     What a nice looking car! My sister had an old one of these (F Reg) and it was very very good and reliable for her and unfortunately got stolen and wrecked. We all went to see the new ones as she really liked her old one. To be honest they look better than they are but don't let that put anyone off. The new ones are a lot bigger than the old ones and handle the road a lot better. She found that when she drove it, the gearbox was not very clear and mistakes were made when putting it into gear. You get a very basic CD Player and have the option of electric windows etc but foran extra cost. There ... more

    My family have a 1989 G-Reg 323 LX, with a 1.3 litre engine. Hardly awe inspiring, I know, but now that I think we might get a new Car, I just have to get off my chest how faithful it has been. We have had it since new, when it was bought in Hong Kong. It survived the sea-water on the trip back to the UK, and it has given good service ever since. It has survived long journeys in snow and all conditions, with the worst problem that we have ever had being a flat battery.     Advantages Advantages reliable machine, comfy drive, not pricey at all. great fuel economy

    Disadvantages Disadvantages suspension could be a little bit better to make the ride more smoother

    I bought this car initially as I believe it to be very aesthetically pleasing. I loved the feel of the car the first time I took it out for a drive, and 2 years down the road, absolutely nothing has had to be repaired on the car what so ever, and I bought it from a used car dealer. The suspension on the car is good, but I sometimes feel it could be better when I compare it with other like cars, but not to the extent that it should put you off buying this car, as it still ensures a very comfortable ride.
