There were lot of other second hand cheap cars pricing ranges from £500-£2000 but when my sight found this car I couldn't choose any other model avilable there. This mazda was a J reg 626 model and engine size of 1.8. It had an outstanding look because of its shape and maroon shining colour even after ten years of it being on the road two years ... ...it too far. I couldn't find any fault in it and still we have it and every time we take it for a MOT it passes the test straight away. I love driving it motorways. If you are looking for a second hand cheap and reliable car just go for Mazda. My favourite model is 626. ... more

my relief it was only in Kent so at least there was no trip to Scotland to endure. The only cars I have driven were a 1.0 litre Ford Fiesta and a 0.8 litre Daewoo Matiz. So the step up to a 1.8litre was quite an unexpected jolt. On telling my shocked parents a severe sense of anxiety struck me, describing the car was like listing the minor faults of the Third Reich. 'Some dents and scratches', 'Faulty electronics', '152,000 miles on the clock'?The list went on. A sense of impending doom suddenly enveloped me.
On researching the 626 a lingering hope emerged, nothing I read suggested that it was a bad buy. In fact on the contrary it was actually one of the more reliable cars in it's class and was voted in the top 15 cars of it's year. the mazda626 is a nice quick fast look in car. U are in for a comfortable ride. There are good features LIKE air condisoning, cruise control etc. If u want a car that is fast this is the car to buy. the interior is ok it could be improved abit. There is lots of room in the car including the boot. There is a nice compact control area on the right hand side drivers side door area. the sunroof could have an electric opening but some times it is more expensive with electric. SO if u are looking for a new car this is the car 2 buy. People say that it looks like a ford mondaeoand fordprobe but this car is the best out of the 3. ...

Advantages: Very comfortable ride Disadvantages: Windows don't clear (dew) when they are rolled down
I own a 1999 Mazda626 - I love the car. It has 85,000 miles on it and I have never had a problem with it. When I leave for the day at 7:00 a.m there is quite a bit of dew on the windows,unfortunately they don't clear when you roll them down. I find that the comfortability and easiness of this vehicle is worth overlooking this small obstacle.The electric windows can be locked while driving so small children can't play with them while moving.Also the sunroof is a great feature that adds lots of style to the car. My 626 also has a manual transmission - several people that have ridden in it say they couldn't tell by the ride and shifting that it wasn't an automatic. I was stopped in a local restaraunt an asked how I like my 626 from someone who was conteplating buyig one an I do believe i sold her on it. Overall I rate the car a 9 ...
