    I have owned a 'J' Reg MX6 for the past 12 months..65,000 on the clock, no noisy engine, no rattling, a nice interior and boy does it go!!!!! I find a previous opinion from a member quite unbelievable...I can only think he has been very unlucky. Mine has been to the garage once and only for a service. The MX6 was introduced and immediately Ford brought in the Probe as its competition. No match ! The MX6 outperforms and outshines the Probe by far. Mazda dropped the MX6 a couple of years ago as it is a bit of a gas guzzler (21 mpg) but it's worth it when you can knock the gearbox down and just ... more

    i haVE RUN THIS CAR FOR 2 YEARS IN THE uk AND HAVE HAD CONSTANT PROBLEMS - RATTLING FRONM THE ENGINE / CREAKY RIDE / CHEAP PLASTIC. DON'T BUY ONE OF THESE!! THE CAR DOES PERFORM WELL THOUGH - I HAVE HAD 140 MPH OUT OF IT !!! SHAME ABOUT THE NOISE AND CHEAPNESS OF THE INTERIOR. I AM NOW LOOKING FOR A MITSUBISHI FTO - ANY BODY GOT ANY IDEAS WHERE I CAN GET A GOOD RELIABLE ONE FROM - ONE THAT DOES NOT RATTLE OR HAVE ANY ENGINE NOISE!!!!
