Although the car is very nice on the eye it is awful to drive, the steering is so sensitive that you only move the steering wheel by an inch and the car wants to do a 360 spin. The wheels and when I say wheels I mean ice skates are terrible, you can be driving on a lovely clear dry day and the car refuses to stick to the road you, kind of hover. And the fuel consumption! Is well without swearing is diabolical, I normally drive a 1.6 Nissan Almera and my fuel costs have doubled, this car drinks petrol like a binge drinker drinks ALCOHOL!
One last thing, the gear box is fitted for left hand drive me thinks as you have to stretch to change gears it might be easier to ask your passenger to change the gears for you!
I will say though that the chairs are really comfy! ;o)
I have given this model two stars mostly on looks oh and the air con but not much else is good on this car!
I've taken to walking a mile to the train station as it's safer, cheaper and I can afford to buy myself a coffee!

Quick review of Mazda3 1.6 Hatchback
Had my 1.6 petrol TS for a year now and really like it. Whilst its nothing special in the performance stakes (could do with a bit more BHP) it drives really well (built on the Focus chassis), corners very nicely and handles well at speed on bendy roads.
Very comfortable with lots of room inside and plenty of equipment for your money. Engine noise is almost silent at low speeds and at idle.
It is a good looking car too. Fuel consumption is reasonable, i fill up once every two weeks which is pretty good going for me!
Thoroughly recommend this car, I love driving it. ...

Quick review of Mazda3 1.6 Hatchback
I own a Mazda3 TS 1.6 5dr petrol...and i love it!!
It's comfort makes it feel like a luxury car. It's handling and steering make it easy to drive.
The sound system in the car tops it off...it's amazing :)
The fuel consumption on it is a bit of a bummer doing only 39 mpg...but that may be my lead foot :)
I would reccomend a mazda3 to anyone...it's my first car and its given me so much confidence as i feel safe in him. ...

I ALSO OWN A MAZDA 3 1.6 TAMURA. CAR LOOKS LOVELY IN AURORA BLUE. LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT CAR INSIDE AND OUT.
PICK UP AND ACCELERATION A BIT SLUGGISH . BUT THE FUEL CONSUMTION IS NOTHING SHORT OF A DISGRACE. HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING TO CONSERVE FUEL BUT NEVER ON ANY JOURNEY HAVE I RETURNED ANY BETTER THAN 30MPG.SINCE CHANGING FROM 1.6 MEGANE FUEL BILLS HAVE INCREASED DRAMATICALLY. ...
