Car Reviews of Mazda Tribute »
Great all round family vehicle.
Advantages: Lots of headroom for tall people. Lots of lugguage space. Disadvantages: Lugguage screen does not completely hide what is in the boot.
I have had my Mazda Tribute for 3 years now and i am extremely happy with it.
The driving position is very comfortable. I have traveled in long journeys in many differnet cars and i can say that the most pleasant trips have been in the Tribute.
The all round space in the car is exceptional. Even the legroom in the back is very generous. As for the space on the back... its massive.
I also like the fact that the back door window opens seperately ... ...of shopping, as you can have the door closed and start stacking the bags on top of each other without fear of anything falling out the car.
The back seats also fold down to give you so much more space. I easily transported a tall fridge freezer to the skip in the back of my Tribute.
Fuel consumption is reasonable too. I worked out that during normal driving around town i was getting around 27 miles per gallon. However, i do have the 2 wheel drive ...

get this for your first SUV
Advantages: easy to handle, basic features Disadvantages: gas instead of diesel motor
...occasionally, I would use a Mazda tribute.
This vehicle was obviously designed for the US market, since the headlights and turn signals are on the other sides of the steering column.
At least they did not do like Toyota and place the gear shifter in the middle of the dashboard...
Firstly, the model I used was a gas motor, and it was NOT the most economical vehicle I have ever driven. Granted, it was a very cool and fun vehicle to drive - but just ... ...usage. In the mud, the Mazda Tribute was a very lazy mover and was stuck more than once.
Of course, the tribute was not designed for such abuse. It was more designed for gravel roads and places where there was once a road.
Inside, the Tribute was very spacious, with leg room to spare and enough storage space to hold a very generous tailgate party (trust me, I did). Features on the models I drover were fairly standard - ABS, airbags galore, automatic ...
