    Advantages Advantages No strict dress code, cheap food, always open.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not the healthiest or cleanest places to eat.

    It isn't often I venture into MacDonald's, but on a damp and grey Bank Holiday Monday, this I where I ended up. I really detest sitting there on yellow chairs watching my kids munching synthetic food, so please be assured this was a rare visit. Don't get me wrong, when I was my children's age and Macy D's first introduced itself into this country, I couldn't get enough of the place and nagged my poor mother into oblivion every weekend just to take me there. Now I have grown older and hopefully wiser, my sensible head has kicked in and all I see is just how nutrionally bad the food really is ... more

    Advantages Advantages The milkshake was OK but I'm not sure if that should be considered advantageous

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Dirty surroundings, foul food, surly staff, food bears no resemblance to advertising photos

    Back in the mid 1970s, there was a buzz going around about the newest ‘culinary’ (for want of a more appropriate word) indulgence from the USA. The subject of this buzz was none other than our now institutional McDonalds, which was standing in line, all set to enthral, and replace the scampi & chips in a basket 1970s pub food culture. My dubious claim to fame regarding McDonalds was that my now late brother-in-law had installed the central heating system inside the newly built, shiny glass-fronted monolith with the huge yellow "M" outside, in the High Street of my then home town.     Advantages Advantages Kids Like It and Maccy D's is Everywhere.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Unhealthy, Nasty Food, Overpriced, Grubby Restaurants, Long Queues.

McDonalds!” cried Little Nephew in a frenzy of excitement, his Thomas The Tank Engine wellies overhanging his car seat and drumming on the dashboard. “Yes” sighed The Boyfriend and I indulgently. “McDonalds.” And then, “But we’re going to Savacentre, aren’t we?”. They say that some ridiculous percentage of children under four recognise the golden arches long before they tune into any other branding and I for one believe that.     Advantages Advantages yummy yummy food and not bad prices.

    McDonalds has been around for many years now and is probably the most popular fast food chain in many countries. I'm quite a fan of fast food, so over the years I've probably spent a lot of money at McDonalds restaurants. I can't resist they're burgers, not any specifically, just any of them! My favourite has got to be the Big Mac which I think is truly amazing. I'm aware that McDonalds really isn't good for you, and I don't care to elaborate on the calorie content of any of the food that they serve because it will only make me feel guilty next time I eat it.     McDonald’s is a massive name in the fast food industry and is the world’s biggest chain of fast food restaurants.There is quite a wide variety of food available at McDonalds and most things on the menu are extremely tasty. Breakfast The breakfast menu at McDonalds has a wide range of food products and is one of my favourite things about McDonalds.
