This book is not particularly a comprehensive book about ASP and all the technology that surrounds it. What this book provides is a set of scenarios - for example - applications for Personnel Dept. or an Intranet at work. Each scenario then contains a set of applications with explanations of how the code works.
All code (and any databases) are stored on the CD accompanying the book (great!). You will need SQL Server 7 to set these ... .../>
What I gained from the book - other than testing the code out and using bits of it - is a mechanism for ideas. The author has come up with some natty examples and it was good to see neat ideas in practice.
Overall - probably not a book to rush out and get but a nicety for any ASP developers collection and a useful starter for anyone beginning ASP development.
