McVitie's Yog Fruit Digestives

I'm a big McVitie's fan to start with, chocolcate digestives are one of my favourite biscuits so when I saw an advertisement for these new Yog Fruit digestives I definitely had to give them a try. It took me a few weeks to find them in the shops, I guess because they are so new but last week I bought a packet of the Forest Fruits flavour and also a packet of the strawberry flavour. ...the chocolate variety. They don't come in a multipack yet but I'm sure that will follow if they become popular.
These really are just as delicious as the chocolate variety. They are basically a digestive biscuit with forest fruit or strawberry puree pieces and yogurt flavoured topping. They don't come in a multipack yet but I'm sure that will follow if they become popular.
These really are just as delicious as the chocolate variety. They are basically a digestive biscuit with forest fruit or strawberry puree pieces and yogurt flavoured topping. They have quite a sweet taste, due to the fruit pieces but they are not sickly so you can still eat quite a few in one sitting. The yogurt topping is quite thin, just like the chocolate topping and does melt in your hand if you hold onto it but that makes it taste even better. There are quite a few fruit pieces on the biscuit so even if you have a bite that doesn't contain a fruit piece you will still get a nice fruity taste. The fruit pieces are quite chewy too and have a nice consistency. Probably not as addictive as the chocolate ones though.
Each biscuit has 73 calories and 3.7g of fat, not great but like everything if you eat them in moderation you will be fine.
A high quality product. The packaging is quite bright and eye catching with a purple colour and pictures of the fruit on the side. Definitely a great addition to the McVities family.
