The climax was a shocker and I was quite unprepared for it, inspite of having read the book ..
But on the whole , I personally felt that the reasons for the killings were just not acceptable- it somehow made one wish that the story had some stronger points regarding the motive for the killings . That is a major flaw here...The song ' You belong tome ' and its implications somehow seem very flimsy and not reason enough for all those killings ..
On the whole I would safely say that the film is watchable if you have not already read the book. It keeps one's absorbed because of the interesting plot.
But if you have already read the book you may be in for a disappointment, as you tend to compare the film with the book, which in my opinion was better..

The book
This book is quite large- it's about the size of two dvd boxes side by side. It is a board book so it is baby friendly. Being a board book means that babies don't have to worry about getting paper cuts and scrunching up the pages as they grab at them. Board books are great as they are so baby friendly, although they don't manage to avoid getting the teeth marks around the edges where your baby likes to chew!
The front page is bright yellow with a big picture of a child on the front pointing to his nose and the title 'Is This MyNose ...

One of our recent purchases whilst out shopping because at the moment Little Miss is really into the diary kind of thing.
THE BOOK
The spiral bound book is brightly decorated on the front cover with a large pink heart, pink mobile phone and other bits and pieces likely to appeal to people into pink!
Attached to the side of the book is a pen with press down buttons to select any one of 4 colours. The pen is nice and chunky with the side of it having that grippy material so little fingers don't slip down the pen. The only downside to the pen is that it is attached by one of those key ring metal circles so is quite difficult to remove from the book; once it's taken off we don't want to attach it again so there is a very real probability that the pen will soon get lost!
