    Advantages Advantages Soothing for chapped skin. Can be used on mother and child. Tube lasts a long time.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Some people are allergic to lanolin. Quite sticky

    Purelan cream is used to protect and soothe cracked or dry nipples. I found it to be extremely soothing for cracked nipples and I often used it on dry patches of my own skin and my babies skin. The cream has the texture of really thick and sticky vaseline and is yellow in colour. It doesn't really have any scent to it. A tiny smear on your finger is more than enough for both nipples. I used the small tube which came with my breastpump at least twice a day for a month and the tube still looks full. I found it to really useful as a barrier to protect my nipples when I was using my breastpump. If ... more
