buttons on the touchscreen which doesn't seem to have the alignment problem of the old software. This maybe due to the fact that you don't have a mini KB (PDA style) but a raw of keys with 3 letters each (like mobile phones). The postcode search is neater and labelled zip code (to confirm the American input via Navteq) but ONLY will accept if entered XX11 22 (only first two letters, number(s), space, number(s) omitting the last two letters of the postcode). This will not bring a door to door but only to the area. Street name and number should be entered kinda destroying the concept of a postcode search.
The PNA350 supplied with GoPal will not display 3D mapping even only PNA350 supplied with Navigator 5 (a product of Chicago based Navteq) will do so mind which product you want to buy.
The look and feel of the unit is very satisfactory ...

I got as far as the PC World website and found that they had a Sat-Nav for £79.99! This was the MedionGo-Pal PNA 210. This was a wonderful price, I thought, and so I shuffled to my local store to see about buying one.
When I got there I found the item was marked as £99! I enquired to a youth who was apparently a salesman and he checked the website to see if what I had seen was a 'web exclusive' price. It transpired that it was not, and so he said i could have it for £79.99.

The Medion also comes with an eSata port included as standard. As eSata is supposedly 6 times faster than USB2, this is vital when it comes to transferring data to mass media storage devices. The final item on the front of the tower is the power button which is located in the centre of the bottom panel.
Moving to the back of the tower, there is the standard power, monitor adapter (DVI port but does come with a VGA adapter should you need to use it), PS2 mouse and keyboard connectors, 6 additional USB ports, a gigabit Ethernet wired network port and a firewire port for devices such as video cameras.
The top of the tower contains an eSata docking ...
