At the time of purchase this was the cheapest multi regional DVD player on the market. I bought this player, purely because of cheapness and its multi regional capacity, and I wanted it for my daughter's bedroom - it wasn't until afterwards that I read the reviews.
Going against what most people have said, I found this DVD player to be perfectly satisfactory and does what I expected it to do. I have only had it a few weeks, and so cannot give a full life review.
For the money, it is ideal for the spare room or kids room. It cost me £36.99, with a little extra for delivery.
It plays the usual VCD's and CDs etc. It's not bad looking there are the usual basic buttons on the front, and on the back the normal holes and sockets that most people do not use.
The remote, even though a bit plasticy, has the usual control features and is easy to use, even though there seems to be a lot more buttons then is perhaps necessary.
It is slimline and looks very sleek, with a visual niceness but this is no benefit, as it is wider than a standard DVD player, and may not fit in your TV stand, but still has a good design.
There is a small LCD display on the front but there is no countdown or clock facility. A nice little feature is the small door and disc slide - a little slot open's automatically and the disc holder slides out and returns very smoothly back into the whole.
Even if you've never heard of Medion - it does exactly what it says on the box. As yet I cannot find fault.
