Advantages: None Disadvantages: Looks like it would break easily, no way a newborn could use this
Recently my little girl has started to chew on absolutely anything she can fit in her mouth getting most of it soaking, I can't believe something so little can produce so much dribble.
I decided to purchase her a teething toy; I thought at least if she had something that was designed to be chewed she wouldn't wreck any more teddies. There are not many shops where I live but we do have a Argos so off I popped to have a look at what they had available.
They did not have very much choice on teethers but I spotted a Winnie the pooh one which looked like it would be quite good, its a ring shaped teether with Winnie the pooh at the bottom and the top half is made of a softish plastic which is filled with water so you can put it in the fridge so you child has a cold ring to chomp on.
There are two different styles, one is Winnie and one is ...
Advantages: lovely little toy, great price, fun to play with Disadvantages: bit repetative
Winnie The Pooh Magic Touch N Crawl is one of the presents that I bought my daughter for Christmas.
Winnie The Pooh Magic Touch and Crawl is made by Fisher Price and it is a great fun toy for babies to play with. It's a Disney branded toy made by Fisher Price and it is an interactive toy that is supposed to help your baby start crawling. The idea is that the toy crawls off and that baby follows it, so it is really aimed at babies 6 months upwards and the box says 6M+ to indicate this. The box is in what I would call the normal Fisher Price Disney colours of purple. The packaging is not to excess, the toy is wired to the back of the box and comes with batteries included.
SO HOW DOES IT WORK?
Well, you simply pat its bum to make it work and it says one of several phrases, including:
Follow me
Lets find something sweet ...
Advantages: classic stories, well crafted songs, excellent remastering of picture and sound Disadvantages: some disapprove as Shepard's drawings were not recreated for animation
Ahh...memories. When I was a small girl in America, The Wonderful World of Disney would show films in the evening one night a week. The many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was one of the films that would appear every now and again, and I would sit down to watch it with great delight. I was such a huge fan, that my parents bought me Winnie The Pooh print dresses from the local Sears department stores, and I would have that identical dress again and again as I grew to the next size until at last, alas, I was too old to fit in the smaller children's sizes. This film was responsible for my great love of Pooh; it was many years before I had the good fortune to get my hands on the A.A. Milne classic stories with their original illustrations. I have to admit to still having rather a soft spot for this film above all other animated Pooh.
