Advantages: It looks awesome Disadvantages: It can have serious consequences
Ear stretching/gauging is when you stretch your ear lobes past it's general size of 18g-20g piercings; ones that you can get at any piercing spot. Self explanatory right? Though it sounds simple it isn't anywhere near it. If you don't do this right, it can lead to bleeding, a blow-out, pain, and it can start to smell kind of really bad, overall with a fair possibility of your ears turning back to normal. Not very appealing. In my experience, I was ......lengths I went through to achieve 00g; sticking bundles of regular stud earrings into my ear at once, making me look ridiculous, to sticking paint brushes and markers through them. This is not anything i suggest at all. At first I had plain 18g piercings, my left ear piercing from when I was a baby, and my right one which I reopened about 2 years ago. Though it seems like a long time and their just about equal, that isn't entirely true. The longer ... Read review
Advantages: Maybe a good product Disadvantages: lying Salesman Robbie M
Robbie M totally misled us about what me and my friends are getting from the photoshoot...he told us we get a free haircut and can even get a group photo. we phoned in to book the appointment and find out we have to pay an additional £30 for the haircut and an additional £50 for a group shoot. He also told us we get a CD for £50 with all our pictures on WHICH IS NOT TRUE!!! it is £100 PER IMAGE!!! I phoned up the sutton coldfield office and they ......could have gotten within 7 days or even 14...This is not written on the leaflet so how was i supposed to know! In my opnion the fact that they did not even want to hear me out on the phone just goes to show that they are willing to do anything to sell...I think Thinkbubble should be ashamed of themselves for letting a lying salesman lead their promotions and then dispute what the customer is saying. At the end of the day me and my friends have full ... Read review
Advantages: fulfilled a long time yearning Disadvantages: none
Having wanted to have my nipples pierced for some years,I had researched / exhausted as much information on pros, cons, procedures, aftercare etc I was mainly bombarded with advice about breastfeeding - general consensus is that there are no problems providing that you are not ambitious with the size of your initial piercing - the bigger the diameter the more milk ducts could be damaged, and that you remove the jewellery whilst actually feeding ......However, that does not affect me as I am 41, have no children and have been sterilised! I made email contact with thepiercingshop at Bath Place, Taunton, Somerset, for several reasons, it is reasonably local to me, it has excellent reviews on piercing blogs and I was also personally recommended to the place, its own website www.thepiercingshop.co.uk is not huge but contains good information. I made some enquiries about allergies/metal reactions ... Read review
Advantages: Looks great, one of the most painless piercings, easy to hide for work if necessary Disadvantages: painful healing process, eating afterwards is difficult
I would recommend tongue piercings to anyone who can handle sustained pain. The piercing itself isn't all that bad - the real issue is that it will hurt pretty steadily for the next week or so, provided you take proper care of it. Proper care should include a salt water rinse at the minimum! If you can find anything else, and ok it with your piercer, you should probably think about also using that on your new piercing. I personally used h2ocean mouthwash, ......listerine and it was great. Eating is another big issue with a new tongue piercing. Liquids seemed to be best for me right after I had it done. After the swelling went down, I kept to softer foods as you have to re-learn how to eat without moving your tongue around too much. Grilled cheese seemed to work pretty well. Things to avoid are spicy foods, cigarettes, alcohol, milk, or citrus products. Milk and citrus both have high acids in them which ... Read review
Advantages: Hair grows back soften and thinner Disadvantages: Might be painful!
Waxing is most undoubtedly my favorite hair removal method. I have had a few bad experiences in the past where poor quality wax only left gooey mess on my body, but I still remain completely baffled by the baby smooth skin left behind after a high-quality waxing session. Waxing has in face been used since centuries when women used to melt sugar with lemon juice and apply it to remove body hair. I believe that this hair removal method is still used ......of wax- hot and cold. In addition, there are waxes for various areas of the body. Certain waxes are specifically intended for bikini and/or facial hair due to the highly sensitive and delicate skin in these regions. I usually buy a waxing kit and do my own waxing at home, but I would certainly recommend you to go to a parlor if it is the first time that you are waxing. While waxing can be quite a daunting experience at first, you have to bear in ... Read review
