Computer fairs Good and bad
Advantages cheaper than high street, meet with people who know what they are talking about
Disadvantages can sometimes get crowded, sometimes get dodgy products
Many people nowadays go to computer fairs to get those bargains on computer hardware since more and more people are becoming computer literate and competant. Computer fairs are a great place to go to get cheap products for your computer and also loads of other stuff like consoles, mobile phones, lava lamps and other such articles.
When you buy from the vendors at computer fairs, many of them are computer businesses trying to get in some extra dosh from computer fairs. This means that anything you buy from the fairs is under the same laws and regulations as if you were buying from the shops- AS LONG AS YOU GET A RECEIPT -I shopped at the computer fairs(BCF- www.computerfairs.com) for many years and was very happy with my purchases. recently it has gon downhill slightly. I seem to have to take more and more stuff back because it is faulty. I don'y know if it is manufacturing problems or if it is the vendors trying to sell off seconds at the computer fairs but it is definately getting risky buying stuff from fairs.
Generally speaking the fairs are very good and since I know which vendors to trust I have taken a new policy of buing from those that I know rather than going for the slightly cheaper option and getting problems. This is a policy that I think many people should adopt as it will drive out the dodgy vendors and leave us with those we know and love!!
