Succeeding an Interview
Review of Succeeding at interviews by Sunshiine21

Advantages: You just need to look good
Disadvantages: You can't make any mistakes on your CV or Certificates

To succeed an interview first of all you need to know if that job is qualified for you. Are you happy with the job? Or are you being forced to take it? Well you need to be happy with watever you're going to work with Secondly, you need to have the qualifications for the job. You also need to bring all your certificates and datas to show how capable you are with this job and you have to tell the truth about yourself. I have had job interviews ...
...and that was because i made mistakes in ma CV, to get a good job you'll need a good CV that will describe your personality and you need to have references to back you up, someone who knows you and you've worked with them for e.g. Your Teacher or a friend who has their own business. You also need to look good, i mean you can't go on an interview and wear shorts n a large t-shirt. You need to be well presented in trousers and shirts, maybe in black ... Read review

Where's my black pen...?
Review of Writing application forms by dynamicnurse

Advantages: See text.
Disadvantages: See text.

...may require for you to fill in the form in a certain way. Also, don't forget to fill it in in black pen as this photocopies better. And remember - CAPITAL LETTERS, as if your writing is like mine when writing in lower case, you can't read half of it. ... Read review

Epic Cvs (www.EpicCvs.co.uk where fantastic when writing my cv!
Review of Writing a CV by iwritereviews

Advantages: Good value for money / very personal service...
Disadvantages: Can't really think of any!

pI just wanted to share with everyone the great experience I had using www.epiccvs.co.uk. It was the first time I have had my Cv professionally written and was unsure what to expect. I found them on google typing in Cv help and the poped us on the side. When I shopped around I found them to be sort of in the middle in terms of price I decided not to go for the cheapest as I wanted to get good results for my CV so decided to go with them. After you ...
...address and the same day I got a call back from a consultant, he was really helpful and asked me what type of jobs I was looking for and what industry I was trying to target ect. really helpful hes name was Matthew (I think?). Anyway after 3/4 days I got my CV back and it looked FANTASTIC I was so impressed I also told my sister who was looking for a job and she used the service and found it to be fantastic..... To cut a long story short, if your ... Read review

Very studious students.
Review of Member Advice on Revision for Exams by dynamicnurse

Advantages: See text.
Disadvantages: See text.

Not that I am the world's best when it comes to revising for an exam, I would just like to pass on any thoughts or ideas that have been passed on to me at school and university! Some people revise loads and get average marks (just like me yet again!), whereas others can not look at a single textbook but get top marks. I wish that I could be just like that second person! But still, that is how I am. When you are being taught a subject that is to be ...
...you are being taught will come up in whhichever exam you are taking for that subject. Otherwise, why would teachers bother to talk for hours on end about the digestive system of an ant!? OK, apart from theh fact that they love listening to the sound of their own voice. The curriculm that is written for most (if not all) subjects along witht he exam, is based on what is practised in that field at that time. In nursing, things are constantly changing. ... NUS EXTRA CARD
Review of Member Advice on Uni life in general by chris_ray

Advantages: discounts to be had
Disadvantages: finding the discounts to be had

NUS is pointless. Unless you have rich parents and plenty of time to spare..and lets face it, if you are a full time student who is thinking of getting an NUS card then you will probably do not have rich parents and probably will not have the time (as you will be studying or working!) then this card is absolutely pointless. When I got one, I though brilliant, I'll get loads of discounts..and save loads of money. So far amazon.co.uk, I got ONE discount, ...
...it, wait unitl you know ALL the books you need, plus any of your mates needs, then put them into one order and the discount might be worth it!?!?!??? But I doubt it. I'm annoyed as the website says you can get student discounts almost everywhere..but realistically clothes shops like Burtons are the only ones bothering. I went into WHSMITHS today, and was shocked at they do not accept student discounts anymore..infact 9/10 places I have visited recently ... Read review
