My Desert Island Essential!!
Review of Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum by moosecl

Advantages: Straight, shiny, sleek, nourished hair that is heat protected AND resists humidity
Disadvantages: Gunky feeling on hands

I have been using this product for about 18 months now and thought seeing as I always rely on reviews to assist me in purchases, I should write one!! I had tried various serums, including Frizz Ease, Charles Worthington etc and just found them to make my hair greasy and dull, with no heat protection offered. My hair salon put this on my hair before blow drying and again before straightening and I was amazed!! I bought a bottle and at £13 thought ...
...that even on my incredibly thick hair it would last a whole year and it did! This product is one of those miracle ones that I definitely couldn't be without, my desert island essential!! I use two pumps on towel dry hair before blow drying, sometimes another before straightening and another to finish. Start on the ends as they are the most dry parts of your hair and work upwards. The difference this makes as a styling aid, compared to just shampoo ... Read review

Perfect hair!
Review of L'Oreal Kerastase Oleo-relax Serum by 03stsin

Advantages: Everything! smooth , soft, smells nice,
Disadvantages: Nothing

After my friend put it in my hair, i instantly fell in love with it! It works like a dream, it de frizzes hair instantly and adds smoothness and shine. I found that it works best when you use 2 pumpfulls ( for long hair, may vary with shorter hair) and gradually scrunch it in, if you rub it in then the effect isn't as good. Then dry your hair with medium heat and minimum force, this may take a little longer than full force but trust me the results ... Read review

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner
Review of Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Frizz Remedy by yazoo88

Advantages: Gorgeous smell, doesnt weigh hair down
Disadvantages: None!

I got the Aussie Hair Miracle as a free sample in a magazine. So I'm not sure how much it costs in shops or what the packaging is like, although I expect it is similar to all other Aussie products which are in cream coloured bottles with basic lettering. I don't always use the free samples I get but thought I would try this one last night after recently finding a more expensive deep conditioner I really liked (GHD deep conditioner). So I was hoping ...
...like some of the other Aussie products I have had, kind of like a bubblegum kind of smell. I really like it anyway! I smoothed it over mainly the ends of my hair. I found I needed to use more of it than the ghd one I used last, as it didn't seem to cover my hair quite as easily. I left it in for about 10minutes while I was in the shower. I found it really easy to wash out, possibly because it wasn't too thick. When I washed it out my hair didn't ... Read review

Nice hair, nice price
Review of TRESemme by razzer246

Advantages: leaves your hair lovely, quite cheep.
Disadvantages: none

I first used this shampoo about four months ago. I wanted a shampoo that didnt make my hair dry and brittle, which wasnt that expensive and that I could get in the local supermarket. I must admit that the annoying adverts did put me off, but then thought it was worth a try. I have to say that I am impressed with this shampoo and the conditioner too. I use the moisture rich version. My hair stays soft and shiny, and my hair smells nice too. You dont ...
...conditioner to the do job either, which is also a plus. The price of the shampoo is pritty good too. For a large 900ml bottle it costs £4.19 for the shampoo and the same for the conditioner on the Tesco website. This is cheeper than what I last paid for for it, which is good. I dont believe they do an anti dandruff version at the moment. ... Read review

kerastase forcintense vita ciment 5X 15ml vials
Review of L'Oreal Kerastase by i-am-a-princess

Advantages: if it fixed my hair it can fix anyones.straw to silk in 1 day.really!
Disadvantages: i cant run to the shops quick enough to buy it!

oh my gosh!! after abusing my hair for far too long i decided ive gotta try and fix it now before i go bald. well my hair was naturally thick and curly and reddish, after years of severe peroxide bleaching every 4 weeks and GHD's every day its now thin, very damaged, snapping off loads and an absolute straw mess. id wash my hair and straighten it and it was just breaking off all over the place, a friend who is a famous WAG recommended the kerastase ...
...highly enough. ive never really used premium brands as i thought they wouldnt be worth the extra money. ive tried intensive conditioners such as frizz ease and aussie but they didnt work. anyway i ordered the kerastase forcintense 5 X15ml vials for reconstructing (vita cement) they cost £19.95 from beautybay.com . im not joking i used one vial tonight and applied it as per the instructions and after just one wash ive got my natural curls back, ...
