Advantages: free, convinient, satisfying, bonding Disadvantages: unable to know how much baby has had, can be painful at first
When I was pregnant I was sick of hearing all the benefits of breast feeding. It seemed that the midwife, the antenatal staff, EVERYONE wanted to talk about breast feedng and it's medical benefits. I was told all about the nutritional benefits to the baby and the health benefits to myself but nobody told me the basic bonuses which you can see straight away. In the middle of the night when your baby is awake you don't have to crawl out of bed and ......them up to the right temperature to your baby. Instead you just quite simply whip out a boob and hey presto! You don't have to worry about sterilising and then worrying whether the bottle is still sterile despite being out of the steriliser for more than an hour... When travelling you don't have to worry abou taking bottles and formula and how much to take and how to sterilise on the go! I'm not a breast feeding fanatic, i can see the positives ... Read review
Advantages: Once you've dealt with this, you can deal with anything Disadvantages: Almost unbearable pain
Breaking up from a loving relationship can be the worst experience of your entire life. How you react depends on several factors including your own personality and past experiences as well as the nature of the relationship that has ended. In the worst cases, sufferers of what I will call "heartbreak" for want of a better word can become depressed (clinical, real depression as opposed to the sort you suffer when your football team loses) and even ......it's too much; the weight of the pain is too great for them to carry and they break down. Some people will only suffer in this way for a matter of days; others may take years to get themselves back to normal. Some people never make it. It is common for people who are going through this trauma to believe that no-one else in the history of the world has ever felt as desperately sad as they do. This leads to a feeling of isolation which exacerbates ... Read review
Advantages: it depends on the people Disadvantages: it also depends on the people
The Definition of Marriage Marriage is a social union or legal contract between individuals that creates kinship. It is an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually intimate and sexual, are acknowledged by a variety of ways, depending on the culture or demographic. Such a union may also be called matrimony, while the ceremony that marks its beginning is usually called a wedding and the marital structure created is known as wedlock. ......is at an all time low although the media says that marriage remains the most stable environment for bringing up children and unmarried couples are 6 and a half times more likely to split once a child is born............................Why is this? Most people don't really care about stats when deciding to marry or not so it must be the attitudes of people that live together, ie they don't see it as a permanent thing. Apparently a child of a married ... Read review
Advantages: It Really Can Make You Stronger Disadvantages: It breaks you, Lowers Your Self-Esteem Etc/
Bullying As an only child of 13 that lives with her mum and doesnt know her dad, I've generally been through a lot. Im not really the type of girl you would expect to have ever been bullied. Im loud sometimes, like to laugh, have lots of friends, outspoken, cheeky, smart and many more things. But yes, I have been bullied. I think that bullying is thought a lot of in our communities, especially in our schools. They have anti-bullying programs ......got bullied, not physically, thank god, but mentally. I was criticized and judged because i was good at something. In the long run, it made me mad, not upset, i got worse at what i was good at, thought lowly of myself but most of all, I was breaking! It ruined my self-confidence but my friends and family have re-built it. If the problem is at school, not like mine, i would advise telling your parent/ guardian but unless it is a terrible situation, ... Read review
Advantages: An extra form of entertainment for baby. Disadvantages: Can be dangerous.
...a baby walker from another member of my family, it was fairly old and very basic. I used it briefly, but then decided to replace it because it seemed to small for my, quite, big baby. The seat appeared uncomfortable and my baby's feet were folded awkwardly. I replaced it with a new Go-Slo Exerciser from Mothercare (perhaps a better name than 'walker'). In my opinion, this one is a much safer design. As the name suggest, the wheels are 'go slow', ......the base is much wider making it, as far as I can tell, a lot more stable and very unlikely to tip over. If you, like me, choose to use a baby walker, then yes your baby is more likely to have an accident of some kind. If you cross several roads each week, then you and your baby are more likely to have an accident. If we want to enjoy life and experience different things, we have got to find the right balance. I feel that after this research I am ... Read review
