Advantages: Cheap, easy to use websites, get to see info and photos on where you are going, protected by abta Disadvantages: you may need to be flexible with dates of travel to get the best deal on accomodation
For years many of us have been enjoying more than 1 holiday a year, however with the economic downfall we are experiencing even 1 holiday may be a struggle.... until now. After days of wandering (which now seem aimlessly) around travel agents and spending hours of valuable time looking through hundreds of web sites trying to find a bargain I decided I would take the DIY approach. It took me so long to come to this way of thinking and I would like ......so you can get your holiday at the price you want to pay in the first instance. BOOKING YOUR FLIGHT.... There are so many low cost airlines (that actually offer a fantastic service) around and still going strong. I prefer to use Easyjet or BmiBaby, a wide selection of routes, flight times, and departure points in UK as well as offering regular sale events!!. At the moment BmiBaby are offering some flights starting at 0.04p each way plus taxes TOTAL ... Read review

I would just like to write a review on what to take on holiday, based on my own experiences of travelling to different places. Of course, different holiday destinations will warrant taking different things but this review will hopefully cover most things. Ideally, you will have some idea of where you are going unless you are going on a surprise holiday - then, someone will no doubt have packed your bags for you! Therefore, you will have some idea ......read on. First off, you should look at what season it is that you are going in. But with that said, the weather can still change! There are many websites and so on that tell you what the weather is where you may be going, or somewhere else that is close by that will give you some idea ofo what to expect. Check as close as you can to going, as these sites will only generally give up to about five days worth of weather coverage. Secondly, look at what ... Read review

WHITE HORSE SH**T TRAVEL INSURANCE please do not book with this company - when it comes to paying out they bring up the smallest of small print. They are mean, unfeeling and are only there to take your money. My mum was taken ill and I had to cancel my holiday but due to their smallest, small print I've lost £2600. You have to supply not only your pre-existing medical conditions but your entire family as well and failing to do this, in my case, ... Read review
Advantages: gives you lifestyle choices Disadvantages: your a slave to it
I like money, as I'm sure you all do. However, the amount of scams that have been in circulation has been quite remarkable. I'm pretty careful when dealing with new customers and I tend to reward companies by giving them repeat custom and loyalty winks. By living my life through the internet and gaging what is hot and what is not. I have a fair idea of what deal IS too good to be true. The best way of course and it cost nil money; is to do a webcheck ......fly by night or not. Other good means if you are dealing with a email address/name only is to join a people tracer. This is also free and the results can save you lots of pounds. You can check by simply typing in "people tracer" in the search bar while on Google. Although I've had many emails stating that I have a $9000 cheque waiting for me in Florida. I have yet to be tempted to payout 65.00 GBP for postage and give out my name in confirmation. ... Advice on Planning a Holiday The more you plan before you go on holiday the more you should be able to see and do once you get there. First thing is you need to decide where you are going to, this will all depend on your circumstances for example if you are single, are a couple or have children. There are lots of different types of holidays as well depending on your budget from luxury hotels in far away places to going camping at home. Some things ......be by train and bus) or cruises. Once you have picked the area you are going to you can chose the best mode of transport for you. If you are feeling adventures you could take your own car or hire one once you get to your destination and navigate yourself. Before I ever book anywhere I make sure I do some research on the area I am planning on going to and the hotel I plan to book. If you have the money you could buy a Lonely Planet book as these ...
