Ravensburger Afternoon Tea Puzzle 14/03/2017

Ravens burger Afternoon tea jigsaw.....

Ravensburger Afternoon Tea Puzzle I have long been a fan of jigsaw puzzles, myself and my husband will happily sit of a summers evening and complete one. It first started a couple of years ago when I wasn't vey well and I downloaded a puzzle app onto my iPad to help occupy the boredom and to stop me getting bored of day time tv! The puzzle obsession has continued but its more fun to sit as a couple and complete one so hence the purchases of several jigsaw puzzles since then and that leads me nicely onto the product that I am going to be reviewing today and that is my Ravensburger Afternoon Tea puzzle. The puzzle was actually brought for us as a gift, we like puzzles but also afternoon tea so the perfect combination really! After recently completing the puzzle, here are my thoughts on the puzzle. I did look online for the price of the puzzle and you will be looking at paying around the £10.00 mark for the puzzle dependant on where you get it from. I know that Range and Smyths toys are stockists of the jigsaw and tend to be fair and reasonable on their pricing. Yo can normally get the Ravensburger jigsaws on the Amazon website as well. There is a really clear image on the front of the jigsaw box, it is as the title suggests, an afternoon tea party. You get the name of the puzzle and the all important number of pieces, this is a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle. I have completed 1000 pieced ones but I tend to mainly have 500 pieces in my collection, a quicker process so I can move onto the next. The first thing ...

Lancome Precision Eyeshadow Brush 13/03/2017

Lancome precision Eyeshadow Brush....

Lancome Precision Eyeshadow Brush I have several different brands of make up in my make up bag. This doesnt actually just apply to my make up but my make up brushes as well. Whilst I tend to stay loyal to the foundation and powder that I use I try to mix ad match and try different products with other items and this leads me onto the brush that I am going to be reviewing today and that is my Lance Precision Eyeshadow brush. The brush is something that I picked up around 3 months ago, just before christmas as I had new eyeshadow to apply for a Christmas party but as I don't were eyeshadow tat often, my brushes were not the best so hence the purchase. I have used it a few times since so here are my thoughts on the product. The Lanome brand is one that I don't own a great deal of but I am much more familiar with it nowadays as they stock it in my local Debenhams stores and seeing as I always am purchasing make up i was abe to use some of my beauty club card points on the purchase as well so at full price you will be looking at paying around the £15 .00 mark for the brush. I ave some Mac brushes in my collection and this is slightly cheaper compred to that brand. The brush itself looks quite sleek and thin. The idea behind me wanting this brush was that it would allow me to apply a small amount of eyeshadow in the corner of my eye and just sweep across a small section of the eyelid and the brush head on this brush is quite small so the first look I got was that it would be ideal for what I wanted. The brush ...

Wella Professionals Enrich Moisturising Conditioner 10/03/2017

Wella Professionals Moisturising Conditioner....

Wella Professionals Enrich Moisturising Conditioner I have tried a number of different products on my hair over the years. I sometimes find a conditioner that will leave my hair silky soft, other times it can build up and I end up with a combination of greasy roots and then dry ends. I think I have dry hair due to the heat treatment that I use on my hair but the greasy roots sometimes is for no other reason than the conditioner doesnt agree with my hair and so I end up with lots f half used bottle and start trying another product. This leads me onto the product that I am going to be revving today and that is my Wella Professional Moistursing Conditioner. I was struggling with a previous bottle so purchased this and wanted to give it a go. Here are my thoughts after using ti for around a month now. The Wella brand is one that I have used several times before, tending to be more styling products as opposed to shampoo and conditioner but this was one I was keen to try. I must point out that I also purchased the matching shampoo as well and used this before applying the conditioner. The conditioner will cost you £6.00 for a 200ml sized bottle but I did get a deal with buying the shampoo as well. There is quite good availability with this product, I think I got it in Boots but several high street stores will stock it as well. You can not miss the bottle, it is a rusty orange colour and comes with a flip top lid at the base of the bottle that dispenses the conditioner. There is the Wella logo on the front as well as the name of ...

Royal & Langnickel Silk Pro Buffing in Powder Foundation Bronzer Brush 08/03/2017

Royal and Langnickel Powder Foundation brush....

Royal & Langnickel Silk Pro Buffing in Powder Foundation Bronzer Brush It is not often I tend to walk past the TK Maxx store without calling inside and having a little look around. i have got so many fantastic deals form just having a little look around and this is exactly how I found the item that I am going to be reviewing today, my Royal and Langnickel Pro Buffing Powder Foundation Brush. I use a power foundation from the Mac brand when I am in a rush as opposed to having chance to use a liquid foundation and further face products but it doesnt come with a brush and the one I had been using was looking a little worse for ware so I decided I would give this one a chance and after seeing it sat thee, it was meant to be! Here are my thoughts on the make up brush. I have tried several different brands of make up brushes in the past but I have to be honest, I had never used this one before and I had never heard of it but I needed a brush and this was ideal. The cost of the brush was £3.00 which in my opinion is a great price to pay. The TK Maxx store will always have good deals but this is a great find. I have looked online since getting this brush and seen that the brushes are a the lower end of cost compared to other brands so I was keen t get using it. The design of the brush is like many others I have used, a black wooden handle with the logo on and then there is a metal section holding the soft bristles into place. There is a large surface are of bristles so they will pick up the powder foundation with ease. As mentioned, I use a Mac ...

Lego Duplo Creative Play 10567 Toddler Build & Boat Fun 07/03/2017

Lego Duplo Creative Play Toddler Build and Boat fun...

Lego Duplo Creative Play 10567 Toddler Build & Boat Fun Having a little baby boy due in the next few weeks I can not wait until he is old enough to start building up his collection of lego and duple. Don't get me wrong I am not wishing his life away but it was my favourite toy as a youngster and I can't wait to buy him some! That said, I look after my niece on a regular basis and she has some fantastic lego and duple sets and that lads me nicely onto the product that I am going to be reviewing today and that is my set of Lego Duplo creative play and the Toddler Build and Boat fun. The set is something that we have used and played with on so many occasions and it is still looking as good as new, here are my thoughts on the product. The set will cost you around the £12.00 mark but this is really dependant on where you make the purchase from. I have found that the Supermarkets sell the duple et for really good prices now but I have also seen this in the Smyths toy store as well as the Range so the availability is really good with the product and f all else fails there is always the internet as well. With the brand, I think there is almost a higher price tag associated with it just because it has been around for so long and is so well established and thought of. The set itself is almost quite simple in design and thought but offers so much fun. The set for me has a duel purpose as the boat can be taken up for bath time but you can have hours of endless fun sat on a playmate in your lounge as well. The Duplo set is a as colourful ...

L'Oreal Hair Expertise EverStrong Reinforcing & Vitality Conditioner 03/03/2017

Loreal Hair Expertise Reinforcing Vitality Conditioner....

L'Oreal Hair Expertise EverStrong Reinforcing & Vitality Conditioner I have often struggled with looking after my hair, it is frizzy and so I tend to use a lot of products as well as a lot of heat treatment on it. I have tried so many different shampoos and conditioners over the years as well that my hair has seen so many different types of products I have lost track! This leads me nicely onto the product that I am going to be review today and that is my Loreal Hair Expertise Everstrong Reinforcing Vitality conditioner. I have used the Loreal brand many times before and always been impressed with the quality and so had high hopes for this conditioner, here are m thoughts on the product. There is very good availability on the Loreal brand. You can pick his up in a number of different high sweet stores, I thin kI got this in Savers but Wilkinsons and even the Supermarkets will have this in stock and very often it will appear on offer. The Loreal Conditioner will cost you around the £4.50 mark for the 250 ml sized bottle. I don't think this is a bad price to pay for the product, the offers often allow you to buy the matching shampoo as well so you can get the conditioner for a good deal. The conditioner comes in a green and cream plastic bottle with a flip lid at the base , allowing you to release the conditioner. There is the Loreal brand name on the front of the bottle as well as the name of the product. There is also the fact that this is a no sulphate conditioner. There is also further information on the reverse of the conditioner that ...

Daniel Sandler Concealer Brush 01/03/2017

Daniel Sandler Concealer Brush....

Daniel Sandler Concealer Brush I would be lost of a morning without my concealer, I am not being vain and sit here typing as if I sit and put a full face of make up on but if I didn't put something under the dark circles by my eyes then I would be a real mess and scare people I think! So if I am going out then I will always attempt to get a dab under the dark circles even if I don't get any other make up on! I also use the concealer for other reasons, so hiding any breakouts that I perhaps might have or red blemishes on my skin. This is where the product that I am going to be review today comes in and that is my Daniel Sandler Concealer brush. I purchased it about 4 months ago now so here are my thoughts on the product. The brush is something that I don't think you will find on the high street as I have found that it is more exclusive to beauty websites. I purchased mine from the Look Fantastic website, this is where I have purchased a couple of the other brushes from the Daniel Sandler range and you will be looking at paying around the £12.50 mark for the brush. I didnt think this is a bad price to have to pay at all when you compare it to the likes of Mac and Estee lauder prices. The brush itself is described by the brand as being an efficient way of dabbing concealer onto those blemishes and covering the dark circles , I think the reason this is such an efficient brush is that it has a smaller surface area and a small brush head so it can be quite intricate and get to the problem area. The brush ...

Dove Hydro Nourishment Body Lotion 28/02/2017

Dove Hydro Nourishment Body Lotion....

Dove Hydro Nourishment Body Lotion I have long been a fan of the Dove range of products. I think it was some several years ago now that I first started using the deodorant and since then I have tried several different products from the Dove range and I currently am getting through the shampoo and condition that I picked up . Alongside this is the product that I am going to be reviewing today and that is my bottle of Dove Hydro Nourishment Body lotion. I got this just before Christmas last year and the bottle is just starting to run low so here are my thoughts on the product. The Dove Body lotion will cost you around the £2.00 mark for a 250ml sized bottle. The cost of the product really does depend on where you purchase it from as it is a product that can be found in a number of different high street stores and it really is worth shopping around in my opinion. I got this in my local Savers store, if I had purchased on the same day from the Boots store it would have cost you an extra 75p so there really are some significant savings to be made with the body lotion. The plastic bottle that the body lotion comes in is what I cal the signiture look from the Dove brand, it is a white bottle, the flip lid at the top with the Dove logo on the front of the bottle as well as the name of the product. There is also a small note on there that this is for normal skin. On the reverse of the bottle is further information about the Dove brand and it tells you a list of ingredients that have been used as well as directions ...

Durable Ordofix Lever Arch File Spine Labels 27/02/2017

Durable Lever Arch File with spine label...

Durable Ordofix Lever Arch File Spine Labels Working in an office there are lots of pieces of stationary equipment that I have to use on a regular basis. I only have to handle small parts of the finance side of the business but we have just been getting everything in order ready for the end of the financial year, so there is lots of clearing of older files and preparing new files. Some of the files that we do try and recycle for all of our record keeping to start again for the new year have sadly been damaged so we needed to order some new ones and this leads me nicely onto the product that I am going to be revving today and that is my Durable Ordofix Lever Arch file with spine label. The files come into us via the Purchasing Manager, she has several suppliers that she uses and we just submit a request as to what we want. The Durable files are not ones that I have used or heard of before but I was keen to give them a go. We do get the advantage of business rates and so these are a little cheaper to use than if you were buying off the high street. As a business we paid around £10 for a box of 10 so not a bad price in my opinion. There are several online suppliers of these folders as stationary suppliers seem to be slowly disappearing from the high street. The folders that we have came in a cardboard box and in the pack of 10 as I mentioned. They are green in colour but I believe there are other shades that you can get as well. The files have a really sturdy front and back and they are also have a really study spine ...

Lego Disney Princess 41050: Ariel's Amazing Treasures 24/02/2017

Lego Disney Ariels Amazing Treasures....

Lego Disney Princess 41050: Ariel's Amazing Treasures Having a five year old niece allows me to explore and let out my inner child and I get to be all girly when we are looking after her! I am fortunate that we are a close family and that we are able to look after her on a regular basis to help the family out. We have got a little bit of a toy box sat in our house that she can delve into when we are looking after her and one of the toys in there that we have recently started playing with is the Lego Disney Princess set and the Amazing treasures of Ariel from the Little Mermaid. Now I am a big fan of the Little Mermaid film anyway and the fact my niece loves it is even better so i couldn't resist this set for her! Here are my thoughts after we have played with the product for a few weeks now. Anyone that has purchased Lego will know it is not the cheapest toy brand out there. This set will cost you around the £27 - £30.00 mark dependant on where you make the purchase from. We had a voucher with our local paper for Smyths toys so we were able to benefit from £5.00 off which was a bonus. This Lego set can also be found online of in the Toys are Us stores. The set as I am sure you have guessed is a Disney one with Ariel the mermaid being one of the key figures. You can tell by the box that the set comes in that this is a definite girly one and the accessories are really good, even if you have not seen the film, the underwater scene is really lovely and you can have hours of creative fun with it. The set also comprises Flounder ...

Rimmel Colour Rush Balm All You Need Is Pink 23/02/2017

Rimmel Colour rush All you need is pink........

Rimmel Colour Rush Balm All You Need Is Pink I have a variety of different make up products in my make up bag. I get so easily swayed when out shopping with my girl friends and often end up purchasing something that I didn't go out looking for, that would be far to sensible after all! The product that I am going to be reviewing today is my Rimmel Colour Rush balm in the All you need is pink shade. We were just having a look around one afternoon and it was my friend that picked the product up first but it was me that went and purchased it, amongst other items! I tend to have used lipstick mainly but have had the odd gloss and this was something even different, it looks just like a crayon! Here are my thoughts on the product after using it for a few weeks now. Having used a couple of the shades in the past I was keen to see what this one had to offer.... The Rimmel Colour balm will cost you around the £5.99 mark but this is dependant on where you purchase it fro, I have always found the Rimmel branded products to be reasonable priced compared to some of the other high end products on the market and the availability of the brand is also really good as well. I got this in Boots but Superdrug, Savers and some Supermarket will also stock the product. There are a few shades in this product, mine is the Make me Blush and is a softer pink and more lighter pin than the others in the range. The product as I mentioned above does look like a crayon in my opinion but thats not a criticism, more of a funky design quirk that I ...

Revlon Concealer Brush 21/02/2017

Revlon Concealer Brush....

Revlon Concealer Brush Whilst I don't put a full face of make up on every morning, I do try to put a little bit on before I leave the house for work, mainly so I don't scare people on my way in or when I get to the office, it is amazing what a little bit of mascara and lips can do to help! alongside this, I tend to use some concealer to cover up any dark or red spots and hide the circles under my eyes! I often use the Touche Eclair product but I also have a Rimmel concealer stick as well and if I am using this then I use the product that I am reviewing today and that is my Revlon Concealer brush. I purchased this a few months ago now and have used it fairly regularly so here are my thoughts on the product. The Revlon brand is one that I have used several times in the past but this brush is the only one I have purchased as opposed to several of their make up items. You will be looking at paying around the £8.00 mark for the brush dependant on where you purchase the brush from. I got this with points from my Boots advantage card but this can also be found in Superdrug and some of the larger supermarkets as well. The Revlon brush is really bright and dynamic in colour, it is a mixture of reds and black. I would say its about 15 cm in length so its not a really tall brush. There is a black section at the bottom and this has the Revlon name on it, then the brush turns red and this section holds all of the bristles in place. The bristles are thin and flat and according to the Revlon brand this will ...

Gibsons Meadow Farm Jigsaw Puzzle 20/02/2017

Gibson Meadow Farm Jigsaw....

Gibsons Meadow Farm Jigsaw Puzzle I have often had a love of jigsaws and I tend to do more during the winter months, there is no gardening needs for me to take care of and without the natural light I can't do much around the home so I have recently completed the latest jigsaw from my collection. It was one that I was very lucky to receive as a christmas present and having started it about a week or so ago I have now been able to complete the jigsaw. Here are my thoughts on the product that I am going to be review today and that is my Gibsons Meadow Farm Jigsaw. The Gibsons brand is one that I have used before when it comes to completing jigsaws. I don't really have a preference of a brand but there only tends to be a handful of brands that are on the market, I guess games consoles came along! If you were looking to purchase this jigsaw, I beehive my friend purchased this from the Amazon website and you will be looking at paying around the £10.00 mark for it and this is a reasonable price in my opinion. I have purchased Jigsaws from the Gibsons range from the Smyths toy store and the Range store but I am not sure if this particular design can be found in there. Like most jigsaws, the image of what will be the completed jigsaw can be found on the front of the box, this lovely country from yard setting is lovely. Whilst I love the city life there is something so tranquil and peaceful about the scene itself. The jigsaw is a 1000 piece one so unless you are a complete pro then this is not one you will finish ...

Tangle Angel Hair Angel Shine 17/02/2017

Tangle Angel Hair brush.....

Tangle Angel Hair Angel Shine With hair like mine I have tried several different hairbrushes in the past. Let me set the scene, my hair is just passed my shoulders and on a good day it can be curled or with the aid of my trusted GHDs can be worn in a straight style, however on a bad day it is simply a frizzy mess that can't be tamed! I have tried a number of different styling products in the past as well as well as hair brushes and combs and this leads me nicely onto the product that I am going to be reviewing today and that is my Tangle Angel Dhine brush. The idea is that after seeing my hairdresser use one quite similar when styling my roots was that I was going to give this one a go. So here are my thoughts. The hair brush was one that I purchased a few months ago now, I got it from the Fragrance direct website but I have seen that you can get ones quite similar from Debenhams and Boots stores as well. You will be looking at paying around the £9.00 mark which is slightly more than I would have perhaps paid in the past but having seen how my hairdresser lifted my roots with a similar brush I was keen to try this as opposed to continue with my paddle rush that I had used for several years. This brush has a wooden handle that is white in colour and then there are v shaped black bristles that will according to the Angel Hair brand leave you will added shine through you hair (Well that and the amount of shine product I use as well!) The brush allows close contact with the cuticles of your hair and ...

Rimmel 60 Seconds London Xpress Brush Nail Varnish Magnetise 650 16/02/2017

Rimmel Nail Varnish Magnetise Xpress....

Rimmel 60 Seconds London Xpress Brush Nail Varnish Magnetise 650 I do love having my nails done, whether that be fingers or toes. I have built up quite the collection of nail colours now and have various shades from various different brands. The product that I am going to be review today is my Rimmel Magnetise shade of nail colour. Whilst I know that spring is not quite here just yet I was getting a little fed up of al the red winter shades I have been having on my nails and wanted something a little brighter for the next few weeks so I opted for this shade. Here are my thoughts on the product. The Rimmel brand is one that I have used many times before and this nail colour was one that I had purchased several months ago as I wanted to use it at the end of the summer say year, I think I had only used it once so it was as good as new and waiting to go on my nails. I have always been impressed with the Rimmel brand no matter what it is that I have purchased from them, nail colour or make up . You will be looking at paying around the £4 - £5.00 mark for this product but it is just dependant ton where you get it from. I found that Savers had some great offers on the Rimmel products last time I looked. The shade was the thing that attracted me the most to the colour, it was something that I didn't really have in my collection and I did want to try something that was a real variance to my shades of corals , reds and pinks. The bottle itself is made of clear glass so you can clearly see the shade through the glass and then there is all the ...
