The Amazing Spider-Man (Xbox 360) 08/06/2013

Spidey Senses Tingling!

The Amazing Spider-Man (Xbox 360) THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN The Amazing Spider-Man is an action/adventure game set in a third-person open world. The game was developed by Beenox and published by Activision and is available for the PC, PS3, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360 and many more. I have never really been a massive fan of the Spider-Man games but I have to say this game certainly altered my feeling on them because its actually quite good and offers a wide range of gameplay features. One of the only flaws is the fact that the only playable mode is single player. There isn't any sort of multiplayer which is a real shame because that would of been fun. The game was directed by Gerard Lehiany and also written by Seamus Kevin Fahey and to be honest they've done a fantastic job. STORY The game is set several months after the events of the movie. Peter Parker and his girlfriend Gwen have sneaked into a restricted part of the Oscorp center. Gwen reveals that she thinks they might be carrying on with where Curt Connors left off with his experiment on the cross species. Gwen and Peter are caught by Alistair Smythe who does reveal that some special scientists are continuing with Curt Connors experiments. Alistair escorts them but suddenly something goes wrong and the cross species start to attack as they notice something with Peter. Peter himself is a cross species after the incidents of the spider bite. Gwen and the scientists are attacked and must stay behind to do what they can. Peter goes in search of ...

FIFA 13 (Xbox 360) 26/05/2013

EA Sports Its In The Game!

FIFA 13 (Xbox 360) FIFA 13 As we all know the FIFA games come once a year and here comes FIFA 13. The only problem I have, is there enough difference from the previous game? I for one believe there is and this FIFA has the biggest change in a few years. Not only does it have new bits in the game but it also features a few new players on the cover and yes that means no Wayne Rooney. FIFA 13 for those that don't know is a football based game and was developed and published by EA Sports. The game is available on many platforms including PC, PS2, PS3, PS Vita, PSP, Wii U, Wii, 3DS, iOS and of course the Xbox 360. Some of the new features in FIFA 13 included the First Touch Control, a whole new bunch of celebrations and a EASFC Catalogue (explained below). There are a few different versions of the game available to buy which include the Ultimate Edition which gives you 24 free gold packs for Ultimate Team mode. There is also the Bonus Edition and Normal Edition versions of the game. Bonus Edition also comes with free packs and a few other bits but the Normal Edition just comes complete with the game. FIFA 13 offers new teams and new stadiums too but still not enough for fans of other teams that haven't made the cut. FIFA 13 also supports Kinect for the Xbox 360 but it is NOT required. GAMEPLAY & GAME MODES The gameplay to FIFA 13 is quite different to FIFA 12. FIFA 12 was a little too quick and a little unrealistic at times but FIFA 13 is more realistic in terms of gameplay but not so realistic ...

Armored Core V (Xbox 360) 19/04/2012

Come Heavy Or Not At All!

Armored Core V (Xbox 360) ARMORED CORE V Armored Core V is a 3D mecha based video game that is available for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game was developed by From Software and published by Namco Bandai. Previous games in the series I haven't been a massive fan but after hearing good things about the game from my cousin and realizing it was quite cheap on release day I thought I would give the game a chance. Armored Core V isn't a sequel to the previous games but it is the 5th in the current series and the 14th in the series overall. The game doesn't feature a story at all but does feature a total of 10 story missions with a different objective in each and there are almost 100 side missions as well as online play. This is by far one of the most exciting Armored Core games as well as the biggest. This Armored Core is more tactical based than all out action but the game still has tons of action. GAMEPLAY In the Armored Core V main menu there is numerous options available which include start mission if you want to quickly get into the main game or side missions that are available. Upon completing missions more and more become available. Doing mission objectives will result in an overall ranking and also cash is earned to spend how you see fit. Rendezvous is if you're in a team and someone is about to start a mission and you want to join them. It automatically puts you with them on the same mission so you can do it as a team. There are also mock battles in which you can set the rules and the map and you ...

Harvest Moon: Animal Parade (Wii) 14/04/2012

There's Trouble In Harmonica Town!

Harvest Moon: Animal Parade (Wii) HARVEST MOON: ANIMAL PARADE Harvest Moon is one of my all time favourite games. Its fun, addictive and suitable for just about everyone. This is yet another farming simulation game from developers Marvelous Entertainment and publishers Natsume and Rising Star Games. The game is only available for the Nintendo Wii. Harvest Moon usually revolves around running your own farm in a small little town with a bunch of friendly villages that you can befriend and even marry should you wish too. There are three different official release Harvest Moon games on the Wii which include Magical Melody, Tree Of Tranquility and of course this one and I would say Animal Parade is the most intriguing with more options and a little more variety in its gameplay. The story to the game is just like any Harvest Moon game and to be honest it doesn't get old with the similarities in the story. STORY You pick either a boy or girl as your character but note the story is the same for each. The town of Harmonica is struggling because all of the animals of the town are deciding to up and leave because the divine tree which stands in the middle of the Harvest Goddess pond is withering away. The only thing that can save the land is the Harvest King but he is nowhere to be found and time is running out. Also five bells around the island have lost their powers and need to be rung again. Your missions are to ring the five bells, find the Harvest king and revive the Goddess Tree. All of which must also be done ...
