Bosch PSM 18 LI + - Multi Sander 27/06/2017

Bosch PSM 18 LI + - Multi Sander Designed for Easy Powerful Jobs

Bosch PSM 18 LI + - Multi Sander I have recently repainted the internal doors in my flat. To make sure a did a good job, I had to sand then first. Well, to do that I had to look for a detail sander! The detail sander is a power saw, as I am sure you already know. There are many different makes and models from which to choose from and it can be a bit of a nightmare deciding on the best one. One wants to do a little thinking on what and how often you'll use it for to make things clearer. Is this to get a one-off DIY job or are you intending to use it? Are you going to be using it to power sockets in a spot with access? What about the dust that is generated when sanding, will you have access to a dust extraction machine or vacuum cleaner? Are you going to be using it above shoulder height, in which case the burden of it could have significance? On how you would like to use it the advanced thinking that you do can go a long way to making the job of selecting the best one for you a good deal easier. Bosch PSM 18 LI multi sander was my final choice. This is what I looked for to make sure I got the most efficient. Mains-powered or Battery-powered? As with most power tools, deciding on whether to go with the more powerful, less convenient route as opposed to the less powerful but more convenient power tool. This is always among those early decisions one must make to makes the final decision easier. In the detail sander arena, the area is dominated by the corded-electric selection, so then your options are more ...

Apple iPhone 7 Plus 256GB 08/06/2017

The iPhone 7 Plus is Simply a Great Phone

Apple iPhone 7 Plus 256GB When I got my new iPhone 7 Plus I was, as usual, very excited. unfortunately, It didn't wow me with a new design or massive innovations, but the iPhone 7 Plus is a great phone. Speedy performance, water resistance, loud speakers, great cameras and adds some clever features. But, the 7 Plus costs a small fortune. This is the most expensive iPhone we’ve ever seen released in the UK. If you’re set on an iPhone, though, this is the one I’d recommend. I must admit the 7 Plus’s battery life is excellent. DESIGN The shape and feel of the iPhone 7 Plus are very much like that of the two versions before it. It's big, big, especially if you add a case to it. Yes, it has an expansive screen, but it's the iPhone 7 Plus’s height that makes it a handful. If you haven't used a phablet before, it's worth testing out first. I found it takes about a week to get accustomed to a larger phone, but I wouldn’t go back. There's so much more you can do with a screen this size, but some will struggle to use it. In other respects, the design has been refined a little. The antenna bands that strapped the back now curve across the top and bottom edges of the phone. On the back, there's a far more pronounced camera bump. There are two new 7 Plus colours, and both are very different. The first is Jet Black, slick, almost ceramic, feel to it. It looks fantastic, it's grippy, and it's the colour I’d choose. You'll need to polish it to get fingerprint marks off it, but more it marks with fine ...

Apple MacBook Pro Retina Display (2015) 09/05/2017

13-inch MacBook Pro: Excellent Ultraportable, Brighter & Lighter

Apple MacBook Pro Retina Display (2015) The entry-level, 13-inch MacBook Pro doesn't have the Touch Bar everyone talks about, but let me ensure you that does not mean this isn't a Superstar notebook. You, for £1,499 get a brighter and more colourful display than the previous 13-inch MacBook Pro, a bigger touchpad, louder speakers and that were, speedier performance more speed all wrapped up in a layout that is thinner, its and smaller than lighter forerunner. The battery life is brilliant, too. Is the affordable new MacBook Pro worth it? Yes, but it isn't as rapidly as cheaper Windows notebooks with Intel's newer 7th-generation processors, and Apple dumped some useful ports to realise this svelte layout. Design: Honey, I Shrunk the MacBook Pro The new MacBook Pro looks both modern and classic, but I wouldn't call it thrilling. The aluminium body is obviously streamlined, as it has 23 percent less volume and is 17 percent narrower about the last 13-inch Professional. There is remarkable precision at the office here, such as the tiny speaker perforations that flank the keyboard, which supply the deck a symmetry that is stunning. Then there's the entirely carved lip, which makes opening the lid effortless. Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch When I had to choose, I went for the brand new Space Gray colour on the Silver, as the prior colour has a more sophisticated vibe. But I do wish Apple could be a little more bold with its use of stuff; for example, I just like the way Dell uses carbon fibre on the interior of the XPS ...

it's Easier to Make The Best Coffee - Nespresso Krups CitiZ&Milk

Krups Nespresso CitiZ & Milk XN 7106 My favourite Christmas present ever! Designed with an integrated “Aeroccino” the Krups Nespresso CitiZ & Milk can prepare the best milk froth as well as hot milk. In case you were not familiar with the barista machine, you should know that a 19-bar pump is the proper barista pressure for perfect weight and ideal flavour extraction coffee; well, gratefully, that is accurately what the Nespresso CitiZ and Milk has. This elite pump empowers the CitiZ and Milk to draw out the delicate fragrance and rich surface of every espresso container, delivering a unimaginably thick cream that adds measurement and richness to each drink you make. If you are in a rush, the Krups Nespresso CitiZ & Milk won't slow you down. It only takes 25 seconds for the machine to heat up to the ideal temperature. Thanks to the CitiZ & Milk’s optimal heat control system; it takes 25 seconds for the machine to heat up to the perfect temperature. As capable as this machine is at wrenching up the warmth, it is energy efficient too; actually, the CitiZ and Milk includes a programmed vitality sparing capacity that will kill the machine following nine minutes of dormancy yet can be acclimated to quiets down after down to 30 minutes of inertia. Esthetically, the CitiZ and Milk offers a rich, Art Deco-propelled outline with straightforward yet refined shading decisions and a smooth, conservative look. Its impression is shockingly traditionalist (approximately 14.5″ x 9″), abandoning you a lot of space on ...

Perfect Fit into a Compact Area: Indesit NCAA55 FridgeFreezer

Indesit NCAA55 When I got my little flat, it was in such a horrible state. It was probably the reason why it didn't attract any first timer. A part of me. I thought I had seen enough Sarah Beeny's programmes to know I had to focus on the space, the light coming from the outside and the generous square shaped rooms. Today, with a little experience I would say that a great deal more there to it. Anyway, thanks to two builders from Algeria, I found on Gumtree, the flat became livable in a little time also because of no structural work was done. They performed their best in the kitchen. I was not expecting it to look so good replacing units, leaving the layout as it was. The only thing I had to put was a fridge freezer and the washing machine. Easy! At least so I thought. I took measurements of the only space left for a fridge and once online, it didn't take long to realise that space for it was too tight for a new standard size fridge. I was told I could not have a self-defrosting fridge as the smallest was 64 CM deep and I only had 55 CM in depth. Of course when I told the builders to leave layout as it was I did not take into account that in the fifties there was no self-defrosting fridge so space was maximised for that time. I needed a solution which didn't involve money as I had none left. The only two possible were: 1 - Forget about a new modern fridge and buy a half size one. 2 - Take one kitchen cupboard out and cut half of the worktops to create a space for my fridge. I ...

Book early or wait for last minute deals: how will you arrange your summer holiday this year? 04/04/2017

Book early or wait for last minute deals: how will you arrange your summer holiday this year? Allow me first to share some good reasons I cannot wait to get away. First of all, I haven’t been on a proper holiday for over two years. Yes, correct. It has been two years. Two years ago I had the brilliant idea to refurbish my functioning bathroom. What had to be an enjoyable redecorating activity, it turned into the longest and most stressful month of my entire life and a financial catastrophe. Without going into many details, because of my strong beliefs that anyone deserves a second chance I trusted who didn’t deserve it. Let’s forget the unpleasant experience to flood into the downstairs flat twice. Superstitious people would say that there is no two without a three.  When the new sink, bath and toilet including the lovely vanity units, and shiny taps arrived, I was  working and I remember this awful headache and an uncomfortable weird feeling in my chest that I could not breath. Then my phone rang. I was never going to see what I had bought because it was gone. A total idiot would think that securing some expensive toilet ’bits’ should be the priority while he left everything outside unguarded and I quote “Surely It was upstairs no longer than 40 mins”. That day I learn to swear in five different languages in literally no time. That and other little issues along the way, I managed to finish it and spent three times what I had budgeted! You are probably starting to understand why the holiday had to be postponed to the next life. However, when I had almost removed ...

Nikon Coolpix S9900 02/04/2017

Nikon Coolpix S9900: A Star Delivering a Poor Performance

Nikon Coolpix S9900 Nikon Coolpix S9900 first came out at the beginning of 2015 to replace the older Nikon Coolpix S9700. The Nikon Coolpix S9900 is a 16.0MP Superzoom camera with a 1/2.3" (6.17 x 4.55 mm ) sized CMOS sensor. I am normally quite good when it comes to choosing these kinds of things: ( cameras, microphones, headphones, sound systems, etc...) however, with this camera I got it completely wrong. I don't remember buying anything as quickly as I purchased the Nikon S9900 and regretted it even quicker. On paper, it sounded a kind of cool little camera, with its app, wi-fi connection option and a bright silver body small enough to fit comfortably in a pocket. Unfortunately, it did not meet the expectations. The Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting; it freezes the camera and all the commands, including shutting the Wi-fi function down or the camera altogether. The only way to re-start it is taking the battery out. After trying a couple of times, I just turned the Wi-Fi off altogether. Apart from that, the camera does take decent pictures, however, only if you are in a place with enough light. Although it's good for sightseeing, bright summer holidays, the pictures when taken indoors or overcast are blurry. From a Nikon, I was expecting more. Nikon S9900 PHYSICAL SPECS Nikon S9900 weighs 289 g and external measurements of 112 x 66 x 40 mm. If we take into account that the average Compact Cameras weight is 187 g, the Nikon S9900 is quite a heavy device for its class. 40mm thick, it is 11mm ...

Ultimate Ears Boom 2 30/03/2017

Get Wet and Listen to Your Music: The Ultimate Ears Boom 2 review

Ultimate Ears Boom 2 THE UE BOOM 2 The UE Boom 2 is the latest Bluetooth speaker by Ultimate Ears' 2013 UE Boom. Its uniqueness certainly is for the super loud maximum volume it can reach causing a hard water splash. I can say with confidence that its battery life is the longest when compared to any other speaker of its league. The second version of the Boom box has those flaws from the original Boom fixed, and the hardware and software were much improved. The needed improvements placed The UE Boom 2 Bluetooth speaker on the list of Best Speakers of 2015. DESIGN AND FEATURES Similar in design to its first/ original version. The UE Boom 2 is: Specs: 67 x 180 mm, 548g tube It features: 360 speaker grille that’s divided by a rubber strip running up its side and along the top and bottom. In this rubber band, is were speaker’s physical volume, and power controls locate. The speaker is available in many bright, funky colours. Some buyers may find these vibrant colours as a put-off. I, however, with the blue, green and yellow model I am reviewing a super cool and fresh change to the dull monotone Bluetooth units at present on the market. Built to IPX7-certification standards, which translated means that the UE Boom 2 can survive submersions in puddles, lakes, ponds, bathtubs and toilet pans to a maximum of 1m deep and for thirty minutes maximum time. I’m not the bubble bath type, so to satisfy my curiosity I went ahead and after filling the kitchen sink with water kept it in the water for ...

Dyson AM09 29/03/2017

The Dyson AM09: the latest 'Hot + Cool' air multiplier

Dyson AM09 Second aperture for targeted airflow Oscillating base Remote control Heating and cooling airflow Manufacturer: Dyson Review Price: £399.99 Hardware Weight 2.6Kg Dimensions 590x205x205mm (with base) Adjustability Tilt, oscillation Remote control Yes (power, temperature, oscillation, fan width, timer) The Dyson AM09 is the latest 'Hot + Cool' air multiplier fan-turn-heater. The Jet Focus technology by Dyson includes a second air flow opening ring that pushes air through a smaller, more precise direction. At the end of the day, rather than simply cooling or warming the entire room, Jet Focus gives you a calming air flow only for you. This new state of art air machine doesn't come cheap. The Dyson AM09 retail price is almost £400. In spite of playing host to a whirlwind of new elements, the AM09 looks indistinguishable to its antecedent – I think it sounds like a larger than usual needle with the pointy end expelled. Like past Dyson air multipliers, the most recent AM09 overflows style and top of the line advance. It's simple in the eye, all around built, so the reality it looks the same isn't an issue. Despite the original design and style, there are some changes over past models. Dyson has taken away the controls on the base replacing them with a single button. I have to say that compared it to my friend's who has the previous model, and it gives the unit a neater, cleaner look. The small, remote clips to the top of the fan heater’s curved body. In this way, the ...

Polaroid Snap 02/02/2017

Polaroid Snap is travel-friendly way to instant photos nostalgics

Polaroid Snap Many of us are still attached to certain things of the past, however, we don't want to compromise on the quality that modern technology got us used to. If those things include taking lots of pictures during holidays, family parties or a night out with friends we were just missing of a camera that combines a bit of the past and a bit of the present. The Polaroid Snap is a new camera that, believe it or not, gives you just that. It is a basic camera that frees you from your mobile digital elements because there is no screen to outline your shot, however, it has a rather little fly up viewfinder on top that likewise turns the camera escapes your direction and just gives you a chance to shoot. D&G The One for Men Eau de Parfum 13/01/2017

Women love The One for Men Eau de Parfum

D&G The One for Men Eau de Parfum The One for Men was launched by Dolce&Gabbana in 2008 with the intend to bring back a masculine classic. In 2015, an enhanced, richer and more sophisticated version was introduced. The One for Men is by far one of my favorite scents I have and I use regularly. I just love everything about it. The fresh top touch of coriander, basil and grapefruit introduce your scent to the more sophisticated and warm blend of ginger, orange blossom and cardamom. Tobacco, amber and cedar are at the base of this sophisticated and sensual fragrance. It smells amazing and everyone loves it. Although it is a fine new version of the EdT (Eau de Toilette), its performance still fails to shine. I expected this new version to last longer on the skin. Available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. The One for Men Eau de Parfum comes in an original design dark bottle. Olivier Polge fathered this fragrance. Price: £71.69 (£47.79 / 100 ml) ...
