Canon PIXMA iP4200 21/06/2007

great performer

Canon PIXMA iP4200 This Canon Pixma iP4200 is the best printer I have ever owned, I have had Lexmark, HP and Epson printers in the past and been disappointed with them all for various reasons, when my last printer died, I went for this one, partly because of good reviews and partly for a new brand. The iP4200's silver plastic case feels solid and looks less boxy than other recent Canon models. Canon PIXMA iP4200 printer - Features The Canon PIXMA iP4200 is an advanced machine with impressive performance for small price, the Canon PIXMA iP4200 photo printer is priced at a level that will not break the bank. The iP4200 printer prints upto 9600 x 2400 dpi color resolution. Replacing the popular iP3000 and iP4000 models, the iP4200 model produces borderless photo lab quality 4x6-inch photos in approximately 60 seconds. The printer uses five individual ChromaLife100 ink tanks along with the Canon FINE (Full-Photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) print head system. ContrastPLUS technology - a system that includes a dye-based black ink for sharper contrast - works together with FINE to produce crisp, high-contrast results.Standard text results are great aswell. Due to the use of an extra high density black ink tank. The Canon ink status detection system is used to alert you to low ink levels and to ensure that the ink tanks are installed and working correctly. Under the system, if an ink tank is accidentally placed in the incorrect slot on the print head, a light on the individual ...

Kingston Micro Secure Digital 1024 MB 19/06/2007

Nice

Kingston Micro Secure Digital 1024 MB My Kingston microSD came with an SD adapter that gives you the convenience to use it as a full-size secure digital (SD) card in SD-enabled devices, including media readers. This allows you to instantly move pictures between multiple devices for sharing and printing. I use mine to transfer my mobile photos, contacts and videos to PC it means it is no longer tied to your phone. Share your content collections with friends, family and colleagues easily I also use mine in the R4ds card for the Nintendo ds lite the transfer/read rate is good enough to run your backed up roms with no freezing. A family member had a little problem with one card from kingston that was manufactured in Taiwan. It seems that the ones that have been manufactured in Japan are the better of the two. Made in Japan one is 2x-5x faster than taiwan made. # Features: Capacity: 1 GB # Standardized: complies with SD card specification standards # Versatile: when combined with the included adapter, can be used as a full-size SD card # Interoperable: with SD slot via SD adapter and with TransFlash - enabled devices # Dimensions: 11mm x 15mm x 1mm) # Operating Temperature: 0 ° to 60 ° C / 32 ° to 140 ° F # Storage Temperature: -20 ° to 85 ° C / -4 ° to 185 ° F # Ultra-Portable: extremely small footprint design # Guaranteed: lifetime warranty

Nou Camp - Barcelona F.C., Barcelona 19/06/2007

Nou Camp -Barca

Nou Camp - Barcelona F.C., Barcelona Barcelona is on Spain's east coast, on the Mediterranean Sea. It is my favourite city in the world, or at least out of the cities I've been to! I have been to Barcelona on several occasions, which I will be adding to as soon as possible, but I fell in love with the city. There are loads of things to do in Barcelona, but the highlight of my trip was my visit to the Nou Camp. This is where Barcelona FC play their football matches, it is the biggest stadium in Europe and is absolutely amazing. I think the Nou Camp stadium is much more entertaining if you go to see an actual game. Although for you true football fans I suppose you might enjoy a tour of the stadium. I didn't see a Barca game but rather two different exposition games, Brazil vs. Catalunya, and another time Argentina vs, Catalunya, I just bought tickets at the stadium before the game, however to see a Barca game it would be more difficult to buy the tickets at the door. You should go on the website to buy tickets. Once inside the stadium is pretty typical, it's really the energy of the crowd and the game which makes a trip to Nou stadium worthwhile! One tip, outside the stadium before a game there are a lot of tables selling merchandise for the teams playing, I don't know if the quality is that great but it seemed pretty reasonably priced compared to the real jerseys etc.

Ideal - Series 2 (DVD) 18/06/2007

Funny

Ideal - Series 2 (DVD) Just watched this over the weekend and i've got to say this is better than the first serie's.Johnny Vegas return's as Mos ,a drug dealer who deal's from his Salford flat. This is darker and funnier, their's a new charactor who sleep's with corpse's.Mos's girlfriend is expecting a baby, but it could be one of three men's child.Graham Duff is on a winner with this comedy,he's created one of the funniest comedie's to come out of the BBC this decade, let's face it ,it's about time they did. Ideal is ace, the writers of this comedy have obviously without doubt been stoned on many occasions, as this is the best most enticing comedy I have ever watched while being stoned, even the music is absolutely spot on, it kicks at just the right time, and drags you deeper into the program, its just quality trust me, if you have never watched ideal, you do not know what you have been missing its the funniest program on the bbc, and puts programs like little Britain to shame.

Sony Ericsson K300i 18/06/2007

Cheap and cheerfull

Sony Ericsson K300i I received a K300i as a free upgrade to my original lovely T610. The phone certainly looks good and has preserved the simple and attractive styling of its predecessor. It does not have a very wide range of functions, and is designed to be a good day-to-day phone without having very flashy specifications. Unfortunately, it comes without Bluetooth, which makes getting photographs to or from the phone a slow process if you have a modern laptop without an IR port and don't want to pay for sending pictures via your network. My main problem with the phone is that it has a cheap and plastic feel in comparison to the well-made T610. The battery cover is very flimsy and creaks and slides around as the phone is handled. Touching almost any part of the chassis also results in creaking, so the whole thing feels cheap and disposable. Overall, rather disappointing when it could and should have been better. The best thing has to be how easy it is to write a text message with. The predictive text input actually works much better than any other phone I've tried. You can start to write the word normally half way through if you know the dictionary won't fnd it and adding your own words is very simply and quick. Once you've wrote your message and clicked send the phone has a great feature - it stores the last few people you have sent messages to right at the top of the list which means you can text you best friend, your mum and your partner quicker than anyone!

Viking SD Secure Digital 256 MB 18/06/2007

excellent little card

Viking SD Secure Digital 256 MB bought this card for a digital camera I had bouht my daughter for her birthday. The card arrived well packed and upon being inserted into the camera it worked straight away with no formatting or change of settings being required. At 4.0mp the camera indicates that the card will hold 300+ photos which I think is excellent for around £5. Access times seem very good and even at 4.0mp there does not seem to be any hold up and we have been able to fire off photos in quick succession without any problems. The card seems to be solidly built and viking a rule are very reliable having built up an excellent reputaion in memory related products. Always my first choice of brand. The card has also been used with a card reader to store pc files in a similar manner to the way you would use a floppy disk. Get yourself a card reader for your PC and these cards make very affordable transportable storage. I use them to store freeware/mp3's on when a friend wants them installed on their pc for example. Also use it with my car stereo with mp3 tracks on it. The uses are endless ...
