Master Card - Citi (Shell)

Citibank Visa I got a city master card from shell. In my experience it offers a good value for money. It is a cash back card and you will get 6% cash back on purchase of shell fuel and purchases from others gives a cash back of 3% upto first 60 days. Thereafter it will give 3% cash back on shell fuel purchases and 1% on purchase of goods and services from others. It is a good idea to use the card and using shell drivers plus card through which you could accumulate points which could be redeemed when accumulated to £10 value. It offers an interest rate of 16.9% APR, interest free period of 50 days, free legal insurance cover upto to £50K, upto 70% off on motor insurance and a 30% off on RAC membership, free travel accident insurance, free extended warranty, free purchase protection, No ANNUAL FEE, price match guarantee, free alerts etc. If you are the person looking into get rewarded for your spending and could pay your balance in full every moth this cash back card could be a better bargain. 25/07/2007

Accelarated car Car insurance from I bought a car accelarted comprehensive car insurance from It is a 10 month policy, benefitting those who wish to accumulate no claim bonus quicker. Considering the price offered to me was relatively a bit costly, but on completion of the 10 month I earned 1 year no claim bonus, which benefitted me on renewing my insurance. Renewal quotation received from 'Elephant' was costly comparitively to other insurers offering normal 12 month policy. When I rang them to cancel the renewal policy, they tried hard and offered better quotation, which was £80 cheaper than inital quotation offered. However the quote was still £80 higher than other insurer. In my opinoin their customer serivce was professional and the policy is suitable for anyone who wish to accumulate 'No calim Bonus' faster. It offers excellent online quotoation and the website is very userfriendly and provides ease of use. It would be a good idea of you wish to proceed with the policy once you got online quotation then ring them and check what they could offer as their best price

Morgan Stanley Card

Morgan Stanley Platinium Card I have been a customer of Morgan Stanley Credit Card (Black Colour Card). It offered me great cash back and excelled customer service. Although I experienced problems with my cash back account it has been sorted out with my repeated reminders. But around March 07 they levied an annual fee of £20 to my account. I was using this card regularly for all my purchases and averaged a spend of £250 a month. On enquiry about the annaul fee they did not offered any clear information. Considering the great customer service and excellent cash back I would recommend this card to any one who would pay off the outstanding each month. Moreover you could earn money by refering this card to your friends and families. But rememer adding on a extra card holder wont attract any refferal income. Also bear in mind Black colour cards may attract annual fee too. Adding on to above the APR rate vary on individual circumstnaces. You could apply for this card through online. I received the card within 10 working days on application. There are offers available for the card holder with different retail group the card company has agreement with

LV - Experience

Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society I had home & contents and life insurance product with LV. When it was due renewal they send me a quotation with 15% increase in policy for my home insurance. When I enquired about this, they informed home insurance prices are going up hence no way to give a better quote. Now I got the same level of cover with MMA which is 35% cheaper than LV. So as I had a motor insurance with LV. The renewal quote for it was also not very competitive. I think the trend of their renewal quote is comparitively costly than their first quotation and policies.However the first ever quote seems to be competitive in the market.The time held in the telephone was also substantial. I rate the value for money for the company as below average
