Superdrug 100% Pure Tea Tree Oil 27/10/2011

Brilliant, but use it wisely.

Superdrug 100% Pure Tea Tree Oil My friend was always telling me about Tea Tree Oil and the wonders it can do so I decided to see for myself. I have to say it's VERY effective when it comes to getting rid of spots, it just dries them out completely and they're gone within 2 to 3 days, however this may depend on the type of skin people have. Although it's properties are 'magical' and I'm very great-full I found it, I have to say this is a product where you absolutely HAVE to follow the instructions! I made the mistake of not following them properly and instead of blending the oil with Sweet Almond Oil like it said on the box I blended it with water as I didn't have any Sweet Almond Oil at the time and I was too excited to wait. It still worked, got rid of blemishes etc, however after a few days it started to dry out my skin quite badly and 'burn' it. So I strongly recommend this product, it comes at a VERY good price, some other shops do tea tree oil but they're sometimes more expensive, for example The Body shop who sell them for around £6 this one however was only £1.49 from Superdrug. It does the job, just use it properly. If you have trouble finding Sweet Almond Oil to blend it with I suggest having a look on eBay, that is where I got mine, you can find some cheap ones there.

Dove Invisible Dry 26/10/2011

In love with Dove.

Dove Invisible Dry I would strongly recommend this deodorant, in my opinion it's the best I've ever used. It may not be the cheapest out of all deodorants but I think it's worth it and it's definitely not a product that is expensive and doesn't do the job. It lasts a good length of time and it's perfect for everyday use, you simply don't have to worry about anything. Probably the most important feature, the smell, is lovely too I've had many of my friends say they like it and some have even gone and got it themselves. And yes, it's true, it leaves NO white marks. And last but not least, it leaves the underarm skin feeling nice and soft and not at all dry. My advice; go out and get it.

Wella Silvikrin Firm Hold Hairspray 25/10/2011

If you can, avoid buying it.

Wella Silvikrin Firm Hold Hairspray Sometimes you happen yo buy something because it's cheap and you haven't got the time to look around. Then you get home and have the lovely surprise when you discover that even though you paid next to nothing for it, it's actually not that bad and does the job properly. This was not one of those times, there are some products out there which are very cheap and very good, however this is one of those products which is cheap and absolute rubbish. The amount of spray which actually comes out at the lightest press is just too much in my opinion, I'd compare it to a hose. After it dries it feels horrible, and hard, not at all soft or flexible, yes it holds, only because it turns your hair into plastic. Thank god it doesn't last long and you can brush it out easily. Well, I've learnt my lesson, stick to what you're used to.

Olay Gentle Cleanser Conditioning Cleansing Milk 25/10/2011

I love this, simple as that.

Olay Gentle Cleanser Conditioning Cleansing Milk I have used this for removing my make up for a ridiculously long time. I've tried others that were similar and none could match up to Olay. This has, in my opinion, no flaws whatsoever. I can see myself in 20years' time still using it. Like it says on the bottle it 'dissolves away dirt and make up' so EASILY it's fantastic, you don't have to scrub at it or anything, I don't know what I would have used if Olay wasn't around. It leaves skin so lovely and smooth too after you use it and it works on any type of make up, I'm especially pleased with the ease of which it removes waterproof mascara too, even though it's probably not supposed to be used for eyes, but I use it anyway. I find it's better if you use it on cotton wool pads instead of using your fingertips, and it's also great on cotton buds for shaping eyeliner. Take my advice, buy it, you won't regret it, if for some miraculous reason you don't like it, you can throw eggs at me.

Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Gel for Clear Skin 24/10/2011

It's okay for when I'm out of Olay...

Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Gel for Clear Skin I'll be honest, if I was able to go back in time and not buy this product I would do it, because I don't think it was worth the money. However, if I was only given ONE chance to go back in time I wouldn't use it to go back and not buy this, meaning it's not the worst thing ever.. At the time of purchase I bought this to go with the Vichy unclogging purifying lotion but I never really used it as I had other products I was used to. BUT, when the time came and I ran out of the usual stuff I use to get my make up off (Olay gentle cleansers conditioning milk) this managed to do the job. It was pretty good at getting off my foundation and my skin did feel cleaner and somewhat refreshed but then again it would do that after being washed with just water too. After a couple of minutes you do start to get the feeling that your skin is getting tighter, however, if you buy this and you get this feeling, don't get scared, nothing else happens. Now, referring to it's actual purpose to 'give clear skin' I don't think it does anything when it comes to that.

Avene Thermal Water Spray 24/10/2011

A face full of water.

Avene Thermal Water Spray I brought this because a relative recommended it to me, saying it helps keep make up on, in particular eye-shadow. Since I started using it I have noticed a slight improvement on how long my foundation stays on and even though it wasn't a huge difference it was one nonetheless and I was pleased, taking into consideration the fact that the product isn't aimed at keeping make up on. I don't use it everyday, I mostly put it on for parties as I find it does help to keep my make up in place for longer and I have gotten comments from friends asking me how my make up doesn't go off. This may be because of this product or because of the quality of the make up I wear, that I don't know however. And although it feels quite weird when you spray it on your face because it make your face go all wet for about 30 seconds (depending on how much you spray on) until it gets absorbed I like the refreshing feeling you get. ...

Acer Aspire Z5700 (PW.SDCE2.048) 24/10/2011

'It's simply the best'

Acer Aspire Z5700 (PW.SDCE2.048) This has to be, by far, the best computer I have ever had. What more can I say, in my opinion there's nothing wrong with it whatsoever. The design is magnificent, very modern and futuristic, very sleek and thin, and everything is nice and compact in the monitor! The screen which is touch screen can be very exciting to people who have never had a computer with a touch screen, I mean it's a whole new experience. When it comes to its performance it performs as good as it looks. For those of you who aren't pleased easily and don't think it looks that great I'll just rephrase that; it's performance is GREAT. Windows 7 is much better than the other Windows' but that's just my opinion. It's incredibly fast, it's got a great capacity (500 GB hard drive) and everything is amplified by the large 23" screen.

Samsung M8920 Pixon12 24/10/2011

It's not a Blackberry, or an iPhone, it's a Pixon and it's GOOD!

Samsung M8920 Pixon12 Nowadays pretty much everyone is obsessed with Blackberries and iPhones and all those fancy new phones. But if you're like me and you just want a good phone no matter what make it is then I recommend the Samsung Pixon. It may not be that well known but I love it! The best feature I would say is most definitely the camera which has a considerable amount of megapixels more than other phones and takes great photos, it's like a phone and a digital camera all in one. You may say, well don't most phones have cameras? Aren't they all like that? The answer is no; most phones have camera with 2 or 3 megapixels, so they don't take the same photos. The other thing I would say I liked was the whole look of it. It may not be as thin as an iPhone but it still looks pretty nice, and this is coming from a pretty image obsessed teen. The only thing I would warn you on though is the screen; it's a touch screen so be careful with it, maybe invest in one of those screen protectors. I had the misfortune of scratching mine slightly a couple weeks after I bought it and even though it's a light scratch it's still noticeable and ruins the whole 'new phone' look. So PLEASE take care of it. ...

Panasonic HDC-SD90 24/10/2011

The Panasonic HDC-SD90 - a great buy at a great price.

Panasonic HDC-SD90 We got this camcorder at the last minute just before we went on holiday and in my opinion I think it was a great decision. The price is quite reasonable and from how it performs I would say it's great value for the money paid for it. The image quality is very good for both recording or taking still pictures. I have to say the thing I was most pleased with was the quality of the still pictures I took with it for an art project I was working on. It has so many options to choose from for scenes and lighting and the zoom is exceptional. However it does take a bit of experimenting to get used to everything it has to offer. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product. ...
