Motorola Ti250E 20/02/2005

Motorola TImeport Ti250e

Motorola Ti250E For the last couple of years I have been going to America for business purposes so I needed a new phone to work in the States so my company supplied me with this Motorola Timeport. I thought that this was going to be a really rubbish phone and they only supplied it to me as I only needed one that worked in America but it almost has everything you need as it is light weight at only 102 grams, it uses tri-band so it works in several different countries, the talktime lasts for 210 minutes but only has a stand by time of 150 hours. But there is one more downside to this phone at that is that it can only store 399 numbers which is not ideal if you are a business man like me and need to have lots of numbers at hand. It does has WAP access but I dont use this as there is no need for it in my job. Another feature is the vibratin feature which I dont think works that well as I can never feel it vibrating so I just keep with the original "ring ring". Texting can get a bit fiddly due to the small buttons. It does have a rather bulky antenna but as they say its whats on the inside thats counts. Overall the Motorola Timeport is a great business phone as it has everything you need. SO say Hello MOTO and Bye Bye Nokia. ...

TRESemme 19/02/2005

TRESemme petite price grande bottle

TRESemme TRESemme was unknown to me but then I saw an advert on the TV and then my hairdresser rcommended it to me so I thought I would try it and know my hair loves it and would be addicted if it could. I would describe as the unknown Head and Shoulders as it works just as good but is cheaper and comes in bigger bottles so its better value for money. TRESemme produces shampoo and conditioner and comes in huge black and white bottles and there are four types which include moisture rich which moistourises and protects and is designed for dry and damaged hair, colour revitalising which also moistourises and protects but is designed for dyed and highlighted hair etc. and makes the colour stand out more, healthy volume which protects and volumises designed for fine, flat hair etc. and finally deep cleansing volumises and clarifies and is designed for all hair types. Each different shampoo has a matching conditioner. I use deep cleansing because I dont know much about hair. You use it like any other shampoo, just wet your hair massage in and then rinse out and repeat if you want and SHAZAM your hair is amazing. The smell is pleasing and long lasting so no more smelly hair. They are available in most health stores like Boots and Savers and are about £3.99 a 900 ml bottle which proves that they are definately value for money. So say goodbye to bad hair days and a hello to TRESemme. ...

Meet the Fockers (2004) 18/02/2005

Come and get Fockerised

Meet the Fockers (2004) When I heard that Meet the Fockers was out in cinemas it was immediately on my things to do list as Meet the Parents was amazing. It also appealed to me as the director, Jay Roach, was also the director of the great Austin Powers with me. Gaylord, Greg, Focker (Ben Stiller) is getting married to Dina Byrnes (Teri Polo) after getting his place in the Circle of Trust and the Byrnes family meet the Focker family in Miami The film starts when Greg delivers his first baby as a nurse and Jay Roach even manages to make that funny to grab your attention. Their journey to Maimi starts with a lot of luck including getting upgraged to first class but disaster strikes as soon as they land as Greg doesnt take the car insurance and one of his windows smashes. Jack Bryne (Robert de Niro) has rented out an amzing caravan whcih has everything you need including bullet proof windows, unpunctable tyres and even a secret labartory under a bed! Gregs parents Roz and Bernie Focker are played by Barbara Streisland and Dustin Hoffman live in a exotic house and Roz has a job as a sex therapist and she teaches old people and to make matters worse Gregs parents tell him who he lost his virginity to but I wont go into too much detail. Other memorable moments include Greg getting arrested and a incidnet including a cat a dog and a toilet but I wont spoil your fun. I dont think it matters if you havent seen Meet the Parents it will still be as funny. I recomend seeing this film but not ...

Harman Kardon HK 19.5 14/02/2005

HARMON kARDON HK 19.5

Harman Kardon HK 19.5 When I bought my PC I got a pair of free speakers and I thought that they were going to ethier break after a while or just have a rubbish sound quality but I was wrong. Five years on they still stand with my new PC and are in great condition. I am a big gamer so having the latest graphics and sound quality to me is very importatnt and these are perfect. I also play a lot of CDs and download a bit of music on my computer. They are small and compact and have now sub-woofer s all the volume control is on the main speaker. THey also have one earphone socket so if someone wants you to turn it dwn you can get some earphones and turn the volume on full blast and no one will ever know. Speaking of sound the quality is amazing and definately value for money. You can turn them right up and there are no crackles or interceptions which I find very annoying. They are about £10 for a pair which is very cheap and once again I recomend you buy a pair. The white colour is ideal for my PC as it is also white but I have upgraded to WIndows XP which means these run on Windows 98 to Windows XP. They could look a bit more flash but as they say its whats on the inside that counts and this definately applys here. The whole thing includes an easy to read instruction leaflet, a supporters booklet which is still in the box as mine have never broke or gone wrong and of course the speakers and all the wires. Compared to other speakers these are simply amazing and for the very last ...

FIFA 2005 (Xbox) 02/02/2005

fifa 2005

FIFA 2005 (Xbox) FIFA Football has benn around for eleven years and this year EA Sports' realesed another football game called FIFA Football2005. Among the new and improved features in this year's game are the "first touch" system, designed to give expert players more control by allowing splitsecond, oneoff passes and more improvisational teamwork. Introduced in the previous year's edition of the game, FIFA's "off the ball control" returns, and has been enhanced to allow new moves in more situations. The controlls are well laid out but the offball control can distract you from thre ball carrier. Freekicks have improved but scoring from them is less frequant and heading is much easier to do as all you have to do is aim which way want to head it and tap the button. The game's career mode has expanded to involve more management activities, in the office as well as on the field. Like past versions, FIFA Football 2005 offers one of the best sports game available, and includes more than 12,000 reallife players in over 350 licensed teams and leagues from around the world. For the first time in the series, online play is supported through the Xbox Live service. FIFA Football 2005 available on PS2, N-Gage, Gamecube and the Game boy. The price varies from £19.99 to £37.99. ...

MSN Messenger 7 26/01/2005

msn messenger 7

MSN Messenger 7 MSN messengar is the new messenger upgrade. The main differeence is the new features in the conversation window. A new nudge button is available so if the person you are chatting to isnt replying you give their screen a wobbling. You can only nudge them if they have the new version as well which can make it rather annoying. There is also a new way of writing, instead of the old fashioned typing you can draw it using the mouse like using paint but it can get bulky and sometmes unreadable. Te new main screnn layout is a bit of a bother as it is a lot bulkier and there are more options so it can be a bit confusing. Overall if you are a regular user of messneger them get the latest version but if you are a new comer use 6.2 as it is simplier to use. Best of all it is free to sign up to get a passport or you can now use an email address even if it is not a MSN one and even better it is free to download any version. ...

Arsenal 25/01/2005

arsenal - simply the best better than all the rest

Arsenal Arsenal where founded 1886 and were known as Woolwhich Arsenal when they were officially professional. During their timed they have had many stadiums and these include Manor Ground and the most oved of them all, good old Highbury. A new stadium is currently under construction and will be known as Ashburton Grove or the Emirates Stadium. Next season will be their last at Highbury (2005/2006) and after thst they will be moving to Ashburton Groove which is twice the size. As next season will be their last at Highbury the will be using the same coloured kit as when they moved into it as a tradition. Arsenal have the second best player in the world Thierry Henry and was a great buy from Juventes and from then on has been amazing and was beaten in the FIFA ratings by Ronaldinhio. Henry has been Arsenals top goal scorer for the last three seasons and possibly more but I cant remember that far back. Other great buys include Dennis Bergkamp who will retire this season, Jose Antonio Reyes who is a 21 year old super star and Cesc Frabregas who is 17 and probably the best 17 year old footballer in the world. Arsenal may also have one of the greatest midfielders in the world, Patrick Vieira. He has a great tackle good pace and nearly wins all one on ones. Sol Campbell is a great centre back and always does the right thing. He never takes risks so he never makes mistakes and is the best centre back in the Premiership but some people may argue with this statement. David ...

Call of Duty: Finest Hour (Xbox) 24/01/2005

Bored of Duty

Call of Duty: Finest Hour (Xbox) Call of Duty was stated to be the best World War Two game ever which is the main reason why I bought it but now I wished I hadnt. The main reason I want to take it back is as it is quite a short game with only about twenty five levels and some of them arfe short and extremely easy which I found very dissapointing. I also found that some of the levels where very hard to complete and you just gave up after a while and couldnt be asked to try again and just gave up. As i have two brothers I thought that it would be a great game to buy as I thought that it was two player but no it waqs only two player if you wanted to kill each other instead of doing missions even if they were kind of boring. Yet again very unhappy. Although there are many bad points there was one good point in my view and that is that the creators of the game have made a variety of weapons and have introduced a couple of tank levels but the tanks aiming could be better by a mile off. The graphics are surisingly very good and are exellent for a War Game and has the Xbox live feature. The game is available on Xbox and PS2 and the price varies from £39.99 for a brand new one to around £19.99 for a second hand version. ...

GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (Xbox) 23/01/2005

007 rogue agent

GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (Xbox) When i recieved this game for Christmas I was dying to play on it but it was a big dissapointment. The main reason for this is that you cannot play multiplayer missions but only killing each other which was a bid blow as I have two brothers who were also dying to play on it. Another reason is that Mr. Bond is not really involved at all as you are often the character of a bad person as the motto goes "Its good to be bad". Compared to the last one it is utter rubbish as there isnt that many missions and generally it isnt that good. A new feature is a being able to hold two one handed weapons at the same time but reloading can cost you some amour or health. Another dissapointing feature is that you don t get to use a vehicle once in the game (at least I dont think so) which I find unexceptable as i think all Ahoot 'em Us should have vehicles involved. The game is not rearkably long and some levels are a stroll in the park but other levels can get on you nerves. They have enabled Xbox live for this game but I havent played on it yet so I dont know what it is like. The game isnt just available on Xbox but you can get it on PS2 and the Gamecube. The price is around £37.99 for a new one to around £19.99 for a second hand one. Overall I am very dissapointed with this game and would recommend buying All or Nothing instead as I think that it is alot better. ...

Canon i 350 21/01/2005

Canon i350

Canon i 350 The Canon i350 is a small, easy to use and very suitable for home and office use. It is called a bubblejet printer due to the ink coming out in bubbles onto the page and has a better effect than inkjet printers. With a fairly bid resolution per inch, 4800 x 1200 makes it a good printer for printing photos with or without borders, documents with high resolution pictures and almost anything you can think of. It has a pretty imperesive print rate of 16 pages per minute of black and white and an incredible rate of eleven pages per minute for colour. It can print from A4 paper sizes downwords and the paper tray can hold up to about 100 sheets of A4. It is a small and compact printer so it can fit on most shelves and is ideal for one of those corner computer units. It is easy to install as all you have to do is link it up to your computer uing the usb and follow some easy steps on the disc and shazzam you are done. At around £60 for the printer, a full black ink cartridge and a full colour ink cartridge it is a complete bargain but sometimes they can forget to pack the usb connector so it is about an extra £5 on top. It is a very reliable printer and comes with a guarentee. You can by another ink cartridge every time it runs out but i advise getting them refilled at specail stores as it saves money and the environment. Overall the Canon i350 is an easy to use printer and ideal for any purpose. ...

Halo 2 (Xbox) 21/01/2005

halos back. back again

Halo 2 (Xbox) halo one was one of the greatest games of the century and all xbox'ers were dieing for the realease of halo2. apparently 1.5 million people reserved and bought a copy during the first wekks of opening. halo 2 is a game of skill and tactics. you must be aware of your surroundings all the time as enemies will junp out at you at the most annoying times. there are new enemies as well so you never no which gun to have at the ready. speking of guns there is a new feature when you can hold two one handed guns at once, otherwise known as dual wield. there is just one disadvantage of this and that is that you cant through grenades. new alien weapons include plasma swords and lpasma cannons. another new feature is that new vehicles can have been introduced and the scorpian appears more than once. you can now drive enemy vehicles and they have introduced a new type of wart hog. enemy vehicles include tanks with huge plasma cannons almost wepaons of mass destruction, ghosts which are little hover crafts with a lightern plasma weapon and a banshee that can fky and also has a lighter plasma weapon. a new feature which i recomend getting is xbox live where you battle against people around the world. the game is only available on Xbox and the price ranges from £39.99 for the special edition brand new version to around £27.99 for a second hand normal version halo 2 is equally good as the first one and possibly better. a must buy ...

Who Killed...... The Zutons - Zutons (The) 19/01/2005

Who Killed the Zutons - definately not me

Who Killed...... The Zutons - Zutons (The) A band I had never heard of before but i heard one of their songs on the radio, bought the album and got addicted. And you should to. The song writers are a genius and so are the band members. THey play the instruments like they have played them all their life and the singer is magic. THere is a mix of songs some quite relaxed some frantic and some a bit of both. THe album consists of thirteen tracks which doesnt sound much but it doesnt matter as they are beautiful once youved listened to them and it wouldnt matter if there was three. Zuton Fever is there first song on the album and really grabs your attention with this and invites you into planet zuton. Pressure point is equally impressive and You will you wont follows it up superbly. The band shouldnt worry about anything else yeat apart from getting their next album out. Once you have listened to this album you certainly wont get this pressure point out of your head. ...
