Fiat Grande Punto 11/09/2007

Fait Grande Punto review

Fiat Grande Punto I have had a 1.4 Dynamic grande punto (90bhp) for 14 months and have enjoyed the hassle free experience. I have driven 16,000 miles in 13 months an have found the car very comfortable. This car is very smooth to drive and offers a smooth gear change to the driver. I had the basic model with CD/radio controls on the steering wheel. For a short person it is a great car as it offers a height adustable seat for the driver. The interior is quite large for a car that is usually placed in the "small car" category. Four adults can fit in with room to spare and the boot is a good size as well. This car is therefore good for shopping and as a small family car. Several airbags come as standard and this car has been classed very highly in european safety tests. It is very economical in fuel for a small family car (I average 53 mpg). I would strongly recommend this car to others and would probably buy a second if ever I needed to change car. Fiat's reputation with it's new cars is definately on the up! ...

Nokia 6300 11/09/2007

Nokia 6300 review

Nokia 6300 Sleek and stylish mobile that is very easy to use. What is even better is O2 offered it to me when it I was due to upgrade my phone with O2. It has a 2 Mega Pixel camera (with 8 x zoom), a video camera, music player and radio. The organiser also contains a calculator, countdown timer and stopwatch ontop of standard functions (alarm clock, calendar, to-do-list, notes). This phone allows you to connect to the internet (via Mini opera) and can be used to present power point and some windows application presentations by acting as a go-between for yourself and your computer. I have had no problems with this phone since I have had it (April 2007) and really appreciate it being just over 1cm in thickness. Great for a pocket or very small handbag of someone constantly on the move! ...

Inn At English Harbour, St John's 11/09/2007

The Inn, English Harbour (Antigua)

Inn At English Harbour, St John's Clean beachfront hotel offering great views over the quiet bay. The beach can only be accessed by hotel guests or guests of a neighbouring small hotel, so it does not get very noisy or over-crowded. Breakfast is taken on the beachfront every morning. One can then spend the day on the hotel's beach, kayaking or sailing (the hotel provides equipment), at the poolside, or exploring the island. The hotel is roughly a 15 minute drive to the capital or a 5 minute boat ride to the historical English Harbour. The ever popular tourist attraction of Shirley's heights (which offers steal band entertainment and barbequed food on Sunday evenings) is only 5 minutes away. Eric Clapton's haven is only 10 minutes down the road! Many of the islands well known scuba diving sights are within 10 minutes of the bay of this hotel. The hotel offers a good restaurant and bar with stunning views over the sea. The hotel rooms are large, have colonial styled furnishing and are clean. Rooms either have a large balcony or small patio (onto the gardens and pool or directly onto the beach). Ceiling fans are included in every room, however, full air-conditioning came at an extra cost. An internet connection is available in the reception lounge. All staff and locals were very friendly. ...
