The Touche Éclat is in the shape of a thick felt tip pen, about six inches long and a centimetre in diameter. The casing is metal and gold in colour which immediately gives it a very expensive feel and reassures the buyer that although they may have paid £20 or more, their money has been well spent. When the cap is removed it reveals a soft brush that is used to apply the product stored within the “pen” like casing. The liquid concealer is released by clicking the button at the base of the pen until it emerges through the brush. This very clever packaging means that not only does the Touche Éclat look appealing, its slim-line design is perfect for slipping into a handbag, it will not spill, and there is no need for extra applicators to be carried.
The actual product is incredibly lightweight and rather than using pigment to cover dark circles, relies on light reflective particles. For this reason, the Touche Éclat comes in one standard colour that suits all. When applied, the product gives the skin an incredible radiance and youthful appearance. Also, a little goes a very long way-only one to two clicks of the “pen” are needed per application, so it does last a long time.
