Bosch PSS 200 A - Electric Sander 25/08/2016

My sitting room floor- You get what you pay for

Bosch PSS 200 A - Electric Sander I recently decided to re-varnish my sitting room floor. It had been about ten years since it was last varnished. I first decided to purchased a cheap sander from aldi before purchasing this one, well that lasted all of about ten minutes before the motor burned out. After returning it I decided to get something a bit more up market and settled on Bosch as I had only heard good reviews from colleagues and neighbours. I was amazed by the short amount of time it took me to complete sanding the sitting room floor. Compared to the aldi sander it was like a ferrari going up against a nissan micra. I have owned this sander about two months now and have also sanded and varnished the hallway and the spare bedroom in my house, I even let my neighbour borrow it to do his own sitting room. I am pleased to say there is no sign of the motor going in it or any signs of wear yet. I am extremely pleased with how durable this product is and would highly recommend any bosch products to anyone looking for any power tools. It may be a bit on the expensive side but you do get what you pay for.

Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 25/08/2016

My first drone

Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 My Impression After spending more than 25 hours of research and dedicating multiple days to testing seven close competitors, I can say that the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 is the best drone in this price range. Improving on its predecessor Parrot AR.Drone 1.0 offers a combination of value, ease of use, advanced features, and reliable operation that nothing else currently available can match. Easier to control than the other drones I tested. It comes with a high-quality camera. The only real drawback is that you’ll need a current smartphone or tablet to take full advantage of its FPV and live-streaming features which most people have anyway. I must say I am very happy with the overall performance of this product. I will definitely be recommending the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 to all my friends. I was surprised by how long the battery lasts compared to other drones in the same class. I would still have to say if you are looking for a drone and have a few 100 quid to spare you should try and test drive as many of them yourself before really making a decision. Hope you find this review helpful.

Canon PowerShot SX710 HS 25/08/2016

Canon PowerShot SX710 HS

Canon PowerShot SX710 HS The Canon Powershot SX710 HS is a compact camera with an image stabilised 30x zoom lens, manual controls and wireless connectivity via WiFi and NFC. The camera has a 20 megapixel sensor, an ISO range of ISO80 to ISO3200, and updates the SX700 HS. Following the motto of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", the SX710 HS has some very subtle design changes including a black shutter release button and video record button, along with a 20.3 megapixel sensor, instead of the 16 megapixel sensor in the previous version, the SX700. The Canon Powershot SX710 HS features a wide-angle 30x optical zoom lens, equivalent to 25mm to 750mm, and optical image stabilisation to aid taking sharp shots at the telephoto end of the zoom range, or in low light conditions. The camera features a 3inch Purecolor II G screen, with a resolution of 922,000 dots and a retractable pop-up flash unit. As well as the usual complement of automatic shooting modes, full creative manual control is available, which is great for those who like to take control of their camera, although there is no provision for recording RAW files with this camera. Processing is taken care of by Canon's DIGIC 6 processor, which promises better quality at high ISOs and a more responsive camera than previous processor versions. 1080p video can be recorded at 60fps, with stereo sound, and optical zoom is available. The camera can shoot up to 10 shots in a burst at 8 frames per second, at full resolution.

Garmin Vivosmart HR 25/08/2016

Garmin Vivosmart HR Great quality, Affordable price!

Garmin Vivosmart HR Geared toward those looking to get more out of their workouts, the vivosmart HR incorporates a heart rate monitor and a large LCD to keep tabs on everything from your distance and calories burned to floors climbed and "intensity minutes." This tracker also lets you view the weather and notifications from your smartphone, and control music playback, although this gadget is not trying to be a smartwatch. If you're looking for a fitness tracker with a little extra, the vivosmart HR is the one to get. The vivosmart HR band uses a watchband clasp. The notches are close together, which means the device should fit snugly on wrists of all sizes. (As someone with skinny wrists, I appreciate this.) Garmin also sells the device in two sizes, Regular and Extra Large. The heart rate monitor does leave an imprint on your wrist if you wear the device tightly, which is how Garmin recommends you wear the tracker if you are exercising. That said, it didn't bother me while I was wearing it, as the monitor itself seems to be designed to rest between the radius and ulna of the wrist.

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A2 25/08/2016

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A2 (Highly recommended)

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A2 Believe it or not, the $399 BeoPlay A2 is actually a relatively budget-friendly offering from high-end television and audio purveyor Bang & Olufsen. The BeoPlay A2 is a small, portable Bluetooth speaker made for taking your tunes on the go. It delivers clear, powerful performance that doesn't distort on deep bass tracks. It also has an attractive, stylish design with a clever twist: Drivers on both sides of the speaker make for a wider field of sound that you can hear clearly no matter where you are in a room. It isn't quite as bass-heavy as the Bose SoundLink III, but if you have the money to spend and you're looking for a powerful, balanced sound signature in a distinctive design, the BeoPlay A2 won't disappoint. Great Product! Highly Recommended!
