USB Card Reader With Free 1GB SD Card

Advantages: 9 in 1 card reader, 1GB SD card, Compact design
Disadvantages: None

The Kingston MobileLite 9-in-1 Card Reader is the only device you need to store, transfer and read data on any USB enabled device. As I use a variety of flash cards for mobile phone, digital camera and camcorder. This card reader is designed with a USB 2.0 connector which is ideal to connect via you PC or laptop. It has memory expansion slots that support nine different types of SD and MMC flash memory cards. It also comes with a 1 GB SD memory card for free, what more would you want. This device is called mobile for a reason, as its small and compact it's ideal to take with you anywhere. You won't find a smaller more compact card reader on the market which carries a respectable name as Kingston. I have another card reader which I use for my PC, I bought this because it was cheap and had free 1GB SD memory card with it. I use this ...

Review of Kingston MobileLite 9-in-1 Reader

The black box

Advantages: Simple, effective, small, many more
Disadvantages: Not as cheap as others

***** Newlink USB 2.0 7 in 1 Card Reader/Writer ***** I'm not great with technology - I can do things but it has to be simple, consistent and woe betide the electrical object should it break down. Luckily this is the easiest piece of equipment so I'll continue to love it. ***** What's it do? ***** This is a device that you plug into your usb port in your computer. You then place your memory card/s into the designated slot on the Newlink reader and hey presto your memory card can then be read by your computer. There's no messing about loading software to recognise each different card or device since you're using the same one each time. Let me explain: I've got a sony ericsson phone with a usb connection - should I want to transfer photos from that I've to connect and reload the software which seems to take forever. Instead ...

Review of Newlink USB 2.0 7 in 1 Card Reader/Writer

Trust my Card Reader

Advantages: reliable, USB2, vista compat, 42 different formats, lively lighty up bits
Disadvantages: bit boring to look at

me with all the card readers I have used. The case is a brushed aluminum/steel finish and feels very solid. It measures about two by three inches. Although it is USB 2 it will work on USB 1.1 as well. It comes with velcro tabs/tape so you can attach it to the side of your computer but I'd advise against it as you don't really get the chance to use both sides. Just stick it on top of a modem or something and it'll sit happily shining its bright blue light until you need it. I've used it with XD cards, Compact Flash cards, SD and Mini SD cards and it has behaved impeccably throughout. I just bought a far sexier looking one this morning which boasts reading 55 (yes 55!) different card types and had a mirrored case (am I sucker for a shiny toy or what?) but still prefer the old faithful. I'm happy with this device.... it might ...
