Advantages: Size, Workmanship, Functionality Disadvantages: Zero support for some old peripherals, crashes car stereo , Bit heavy!
and click 'get album artwork' - this did take a while... but worked! Whilst coverflow looks nice I don't think it adds extra functionality to the IPod... more a space draining quirk! It does look awesome though ;-)
Sound playback is the usual high standard - but this is really down to you, the user - I have all my imported (off CD) music set to apple loss-less. Which will take up more space, but with 160 GIGS to play with... it is not a great deal more! It must be said - the headphones supplied are useless... get some Sennheiser CX300 - the added clarity is noticeable - and you do not need it as loud! The hat trick is that the ear buds stay in my ear when I am working out.
Video playback; to test this I ripped Family Guy from dvd to IPod using the ImToo software package. Quality was good - but KILLS your battery! So not ideal ...
Advantages: Easy To Use, Lots Of Memory, Many New Features Disadvantages: None
Apple iPod Classic 160GB Silver
The Apple iPod Classic is a great mp3 player. With 160GB of memory you wont have to worry about how much space you've got left ever again. I paid about £220 for my iPod classic and it was well worth it. With the iPod Classic you can browse you music in many different ways. You can still browse by Song, Artist, Album and most played. The video feature is excellent. You can hold up to 200 hours of video, all on your iPod Classic. I must say that I am very impressed with the video quality. It's just like watching a TV but with a smaller screen. You can download all of your favourite TV shows straight from ...
Advantages: Lots of space for all your gaming needs. Disadvantages: Price, Dust, Missing GB
My personal experience with the Xbox 360 harddrive has been fairly positive. The ability to store music, films, videos and of course games saves is one that no Xbox gamer should be without. 120 GB of memory is more than enough for the average gamer. The harddrive is well designed to blend with the console perfectly. It is small and easy to store.
However the price is pretty heavy compared to the cheaper 20GB versions. A problem with the memory is the fact that the harddrive does not actually have 120GB, obviously it wouldn't be exactly due to the need for the running files but several GB are actually missing. Regular cleaning is advised as dust tends to collect on the harddrive but a sharp blow into the docking port is sufficient to clear this.
All in all this product is an incredibly useful addition to any Xbox 360 gamers ...
