Miniature Storage Power
Review of Sandisk Extreme III Compact Flash CF 2GB 2048 MB by matty168

Advantages: Small in Size,Great Brand
Disadvantages: Perhaps too small and easy to lose

...I have had the Sandisk Extreme III 2GB compact flash card for about two six months and have taken about 150 hi-resolution pictures during this perios. It will take you a while to use up this 2GB card that should hold nearly 1000 quality photographs with your average 5 megapixel camera nowadays. If your not to bothered about high resolution images then generally you should be able to store three or four times as many lower quality photos than you ...
...a good idea Specifications: Storage Capacity: 2 GB Dimensions: 36.4mm x 42.8mm x 3.3mm At present the price for this Sandisk compact flash card can vary considerably in price so it is best shopping around as there may be a bargain out there that is waiting for you!. ... Read review

Review of Sandisk Compact Flash Ultra II 2048 MB by vk-dream

Advantages: Cheap and Cheerful
Disadvantages: Time delay as card fills up

...Finally I came across the SanDisk ultra II 1.0GB and was really quite impressed with what I was reading. “When the shooting turns fast and furious, serious photographers turn to SanDisk Ultra II CompactFlash. So fast, you’re always ready for the next shot. So rugged, environmental conditions are never a problem. So well built that it’s backed by SanDisk’s lifetime limited warranty. When every shot counts, choose SanDisk Ultra II CompactFlash.” After ...

Sandisk Compact Flash Card - 4gb - Ultra 2
Review of Sandisk Compact Flash CF 4GB Ultra II 4096 MB by jangul

Advantages: Fast, big on storage
Disadvantages: Price but shop around

I bought one of these about 2 months ago to use with my new Canon 30D. I took it out on a shoot for the first time and after installing it, the camera flashed up "card error". I tried inserting it a couple of times with no luck. I put my old CF card back in which worked fine so I knew the camera was ok. I then tried this card one last time and it worked. It's been fine ever since but it did shake my confidence in it a little. It does write very ... Read review

Reliable Memory product
Review of Kingston HI Speed Elite PRO Compact Flash 4096 MB by yassarikhan786

Advantages: Fast write speed, Reliable (estimated to last over 100 years)
Disadvantages: none

Kingston is one of the largest memory card manufacturers in the world. They are renowned for their high quality memory products. The provided picture by Ciao shows a 2GB version of the card rather than a 4GB one, which it should be. Compact flash cards (including this one) are fairly large, with an approximate length of 4.2 cm, an approximate height of 3.5 cm and an approximate depth of 0.3 cm (3 mm). Taking everything into account you can see that ...
...they can hold. All Kingston flash compact cards (including this one) work in temperatures up to just over 85 degrees centigrade and minus temperatures up to -40 degrees centigrade. This can be seen both as an advantage as well as a disadvantage as it would mean that the memory card will function in virtually any part of the world (including the very hot Sahara desert in Africa and the North and South poles. The disadvantage would be in the device ... Read review

Kingston Compact Flash CF 1 GB
Review of Kingston Compactflash CF 1 GB 1000 MB by bindie

Advantages: You Will Never Lose It & It IsCheap
Disadvantages: Extremely Big & Extremely Slow

I have an Archos AV420, and I needed some extra memory. It has an external Compact Flash (CF) slot, so I bought a 1GB CF card for £14.99 from a website that I found on google. This may be cheap, but I would not have bought this format if I could have bought anything else. I have found some problems with the card. Firstly, the card is extremely big. This meant that I had to buy an extra external card reader, because my normal one couldn't accommodate ...
...the card caboodle that I have was not big enough. So I now have to carry it around it another card holder which is a bit of a pain. It is roughly double the size of an MMC card, and nearly twice the thickness. Secondly, it is painfully slow when transferring any sort of data from you PC to the card. I have Lost on my PC, and I wanted to transfer episode 24 to my Archos so that I could watch it on the coach. The file is only 348MB because it is an ... Read review
