Ultra 2 - Ultra speed
Review of Sandisk SDSDMU-1024-E10M Ultra II MINI-SD S 1024 MB by
mitz101
Advantages: Very fast and reliable
Disadvantages: Costs more
...the 1GB miniSD card from Sandisk (the Ultra II edition). I originally got a budget 'own-brand', 2GB miniSD card from an internet shop which was REALLY SLOW (I'm taliking 9 minutes to transfer 40MB - just think how long it would take to gill the 2GB)! Also that card kept on getting corrupt - so I sent it back and exchanged for this Sandisk card - which was half the storage but same price. I was using it for my Nokia N73. The transfer speeds are now ... ...or transferring data. I would definetely recommend this card for anyone who wants quick transfer rates and reliability. Okay, they cost more than the others - but with Sandisk you know you're getting a quality product. You can pick this card up for £17.99 + devery from mymemory.com. ...

Never been so easy.
Review of Sandisk MINI-SD Secure Digit. 512 MB by
moi098
Advantages: Easy to use, two uses for one price
Disadvantages: None found as of yet
Having used this product I have had no problems as it is easy to use unlike some other memory cards that have had problems storing data. This product also comes in a range of different sizes of memory ranging from 128MB to 2GB so can be used for many purposes such as using a high resolution camera or even a lower resolution camera, these memory cards can also be used in some mobile phones that support them. Each memory card also comes with a SD card ... ...right card reader, you can just put the card into the adapter and it can be used as a more common SD card. Also this card is less than half the size of a standard SD card, or when used with the adapter can double up as a SD card for use in other items. ...

Great Card for any SLR user!
Review of Sandisk Extreme III Compact Flash CF 2GB 2048 MB by
Kringlebeast
Advantages: Write speed, low price, extra's in box
Disadvantages: Will naturally be superseded over time by faster, bigger cards.
Having bought this card to give me higher capacity and faster write speed (My previous card was a Fujifilm 1gb CF card which I bought from ASDA for £8), I can safely say this card is superb value for money! It's improved the write speed of my slow 300D considerably, and has done exactly what it's been designed to do.
In the box you are provided with a recovery disk (not needed to test it yet to see how/ if it works), and a neat little carry case ...

Transcend - buy over Sandisk!
Review of Transcend TS8GSDHC Secure Digital 8192 MB by
technosplat
Advantages: Very fast transfer rate, strong, looks good, smells pretty, cheap
Disadvantages: None
...a little worried about buying Transcend over Sandisk, but with such a huge financial saving I thought I'd give Transcend a go. I'm very glad I did!
The Transcend 8Gb SDHC (secure digital high capacity) memory card performs excellently - trandfer speeds are very very good. It's rated at 'speed 6', the same as the most expensive Sandisk Ultra cards selling for over twice the price.
One thing to mention - SDHC cards cannot be read by all memory card ...
