Ultra 2 - Ultra speed
Review of Sandisk SDSDMU-1024-E10M Ultra II MINI-SD S 1024 MB by
mitz101
Advantages: Very fast and reliable
Disadvantages: Costs more
...the 1GB miniSD card from Sandisk (the Ultra II edition). I originally got a budget 'own-brand', 2GB miniSD card from an internet shop which was REALLY SLOW (I'm taliking 9 minutes to transfer 40MB - just think how long it would take to gill the 2GB)! Also that card kept on getting corrupt - so I sent it back and exchanged for this Sandisk card - which was half the storage but same price. I was using it for my Nokia N73. The transfer speeds are now ... ...or transferring data. I would definetely recommend this card for anyone who wants quick transfer rates and reliability. Okay, they cost more than the others - but with Sandisk you know you're getting a quality product. You can pick this card up for £17.99 + devery from mymemory.com. ...

Small and Dinky
Review of Kingston MINI-SD Secure Digital 1024 MB by
pgn0
Advantages: cheap, hi-capacity storage for cameras and PDAs
Disadvantages: small, easily misplaced
...is a review of the Kingston MINI-SD Secure Digital card, Kingston p/n SDM/1GB. The first picture above shows a blue "standard", not "mini" SD card and is a little misleading (thank you, Ciao)... the actual device under review is shown at the end of this review (or possibly as the second photo above if Ciao's photo selector is working). ***Geek warning: This review contains some seriously beep-bop technical guff, so if you are not of a technical bent, ... ...these memory cards, and the Kingston MINI SD card packs 1GB onto a piece of plastic no larger than a thumbnail! The mini SD is compatible with certain phones and cameras, and the micro SD, smaller yet, goes into even more devices.
What's in the Kingston card? For a start, it's not the blue card that's shown at the top left of this review - the mini SD card is a lot smaller! Kingston's 1GB Mini SD card is described as " a small and lightweight memory ...

Never been so easy.
Review of Sandisk MINI-SD Secure Digit. 512 MB by
moi098
Advantages: Easy to use, two uses for one price
Disadvantages: None found as of yet
Having used this product I have had no problems as it is easy to use unlike some other memory cards that have had problems storing data. This product also comes in a range of different sizes of memory ranging from 128MB to 2GB so can be used for many purposes such as using a high resolution camera or even a lower resolution camera, these memory cards can also be used in some mobile phones that support them. Each memory card also comes with a SD card ... ...right card reader, you can just put the card into the adapter and it can be used as a more common SD card. Also this card is less than half the size of a standard SD card, or when used with the adapter can double up as a SD card for use in other items. ...

Very useful Memory Stick
Review of Sony MSX-M2GSX-PSP Memory Stick PRO DUO 2048 MB by
shamis4
Advantages: great price and can be used to store loads of stuff
Disadvantages: none at £9
...can be used in the Sony PSP console.
I currently have a PSP and have changed memory sticks several times. At first I had the 32 mb version which came with the console, I then bought the 512mb version.
However I have found the 512mb version to still be too small and I needed a much bigger memory stick in order to store all that I wanted on my PSP.
The actual stick:
The memory stick is a very small plastic card, just larger than the size of your ... ...the others) being made by Sony can also be used on most Sony digital cameras to take and store your photos - so this memory stick can have several uses.
Note: There are also other makes of memory stick and I have tried a few but there is really no difference as they all come in the same range of sizes and at similar costs - so I would simply recommend getting the Sony ones as they are almost guaranteed to work and can also be used on the digital ...

Not really exciting, but a brilliant memory card
Review of Sandisk Secure Digital CARD 2048 MB by
jonwebb5
Advantages: Lots of storage space, completely reliable, great connectivity, dirt cheap
Disadvantages: None
...one does that perfectly.
Sandisk are widely recognised as the leading manufacturer with regards to memory cards, and their SD cards are particuarly good. This is one of, if not the, largest Secure Digital card Sandisk sell, and it works perfectly. The card is as reliable as a wood burning stone - it never fails, just keeps ticking away in the background, doing it's job. In fact, you hardly ever need to pay it any attention. It doesn't encounter ... ...So, reliable, endless storage and great connectivity. You cannot go wrong with this Sandisk SD card, especially at such a low price. It may not be much to get excited about, but at least you'll know you've bought the right one, and don't need to give it any more thought. ...
