An accidental bonus

Advantages: Versatility, capacity, sise, reliability
Disadvantages: Doesn't work with my SD card reader

I originally bought the SanDisk 8GB micro SDHC card for my Samsung SGH-G600 phone, not having read in the user manual that the maximum capacity card it could accommodate is 2GB. Don't get me wrong, it did work in the phone but it showed a capacity of 1GB and would not allow any ineteraction with the Samsung PC Studio software. Being somewhat disgruntled that I had wasted my money, the card lay in a drawer unused for about six months until one day, ...
...I had a micro SD adapter. At this point a bulb appeared above my head and I wondered if the micro SDHC card (in the adapter) might work in my Fuji FunePix S1000 camera. Eureka, it did! Until this point I had been restricted to taking around a hundred photos in any outing with a 512MB XD card (I like to take them at the highest resolution and quality available). Now I was liberated; I could take 1600 pictures without having to rush home and upload ...

...worthwhile. The SanDisk High Capacity (SDHC) 4-GB card makes that possible. Note the following capabilities for this product: ~ High storage capacity for digital content, including photos, videos, and music ~ Optimized speed for SDHC-compatible devices ~ A 5-year limited warranty ~ Able to survive a shock of 2,000 Gs (equal to a 10-foot drop) ~ A handy security lock to help prevent unwanted erasing of the card My case in point illustrates the ...
...countless cycles. My 4-GB SanDisk Card is no exception. It has logged thousands of miles on my travels and thousands of photos transferred to my computer. Despite the fact that I use the same software (from Canon) to download images from my 4-GB SD as I use form a larger Ultra II card from an older digital camera, the transfer speed for the new 4-GB card is much faster. I can download 400 images using the new card in half the time it takes to download ...

Fast Access SD Card

Advantages: 4GB, ESP Technology, RescuePRO

The Sandisk Extreme III 4 GB Compact Flash Card is ideal for digital camera's and camcorders. I needed some extra memory for my digital camera so bought this. Sandisk have a good reputation in developing flash memory cards so I thought I would go for this. With my digital camera I had a supplied 1GB card which to be honest isn't much when taking high resolution photos, it fill up pretty quick. The Sandisk SD card is a good size at 4GB storage. ...
...2 cm Overall the Sandisk Extreme III 4 GB Compact Flash Card is perfect to replace your old SD card or simply an upgrade from a lower storage size. You will definitely notice a difference when running this card as it works without any glitch at a good speed too. I got this card from Ebay for around £5 inc. p&p usually retails at around £10. ...

...is from the boffins at Sandisk and is the 8GB version and it is this that I am going to tell you about. ** A few details first… * 8GB storage space * flash memory card * class 2 speed rating * SDHC memory * Write protection switch * comes with a 5 year warranty * Low battery consumption * And, as all SD cards, it will continue to save all it has stored until you decide otherwise. * It comes in a little white plastic case which is quite ...
...worries. And with the familiar sandisk name branded on the red and blue label you know your memories will be in good hands. The transfer rate is faultless so there is no need for messing around when you get around to sorting out your footage and pictures, it is just a matter of using the old methods of ‘copy/cut and paste‘, ‘drag and drop’ or ‘send to’, the choice is yours, but as this card is the newer and much smarter SDHC type then the speed ...

...near Mount Olympus. No, an Olympus M-XD card is a memory card designed to store data. The xd format is smaller and neater than the more common SD card, in fact roughly half the size. Olympus has marketed it for their cameras, with the plan that it would fit more easily than the larger type of cards. It can be used in other cameras which take the xd card, and other electrical items as well. 2 What are its features? It is a 2GB version, and that ...
...The special features of this Olympus card relate to their own brands of camera. It can allow panoramic shots to be taken, stored and then compiled in conjunction with their own software. It has also been programmed in such a way that a variety of art functions can be utilised when this card is used with Olympus Master software. The memory chips used are fast in handling memory both in input and output terms. A camera user will find this helpful ...
