Fujifilm sd 1024. Even the packets bomproof!!!
Advantages: Easy to use, has survived living with me and has been trouble free to date Disadvantages: Comes without any instructions and is a real nightmare to get out of the packet
...also good and I'd recommend Fujifilm sd to anyone. It slots in easily and is removed easily. I did find it a little daunting when I got home and there were no instructions though. All very easy when you are used to new fangled technology but I wasn't. Tthe biggest problem I had with it was trying to remove it from its sealed plastic blister packet without damaging it!!! ...

"Someday my prints will come"
Advantages: Loads of picture storage for less than an album. Disadvantages: Easy to lose.
...64mb xD memory cards by Fujifilm are the best of a good idea. The price is very good at £3.49 from Amazon, plus P&P of course. This is the cheapest I have seen them, you can buy them anywhere but at a higher price. They are often described as the "Postage stamp" size cards, they actually measure an inch by three quarters, or if you are metric 19 x 24mm. If you look on various sites, you will find a lot cheaper, but I would suggest that at this price, ... ...cards were jointly developed by Fujifilm and Olympus. They are coloured black, it is a shame they are not some colour like hi-vis yellow, because if you drop one of these outdoors, you may never find it. They do come in a protective case, which is easy enough to keep in the same case as your camera, my tip here is to make the case easy to spot, although the time you are most likely to lose one, is when you are actually changing it. You will probably ...

Fujifilm XD Picture Card (128mb)
Advantages: Fast, Tiney Physical Size, Decent storage for price Disadvantages: Not as wide spread as SD + Compact Flash
The Fujifilm XD Picture Card (128mb) is a very small (aprox 1.5cm) Memory card used in most Fujifilm cameras.
It was developed jointly between Fujifilm and Olympus to create the worlds smallest and very fast memory card, which Fuji dropped into their camera's to promote them.
The XD picture cards have had an update in recent months where they got even faster, and can be distinguished from the older models by their blue writing (there are 2 versions ... ...black with gold writing.
The card i bought (128mb) holds enough for small cameras (1-3mpx) but anything over that its a struggle to squeeze all your images onto it, i get on average 30-50 images before i have to dump my memory onto a hard drive (at 6mpx).
Price when it was released was around £50 (which unfortunately i paid) you can get 1GB versions now for around £29 (old version and standard new versions)
Dumping memory is all too easy with ...

Bad to see it go!
Advantages: great for owners who have it and Fuji camera Disadvantages: end of life!
...being made. Whilst the new Fujifilm digital camera series such as the Finepix range now takes the standard Fujifilm sd card: http://www.gomemory.co.uk/fujifilm-memory, owners of older models will then have to rely on Olympus for xD memory from now on. In my opinion, the xD-Picture Card is one of the first memory card formats that was designed specifically for digital cameras. Type-M / M-Plus cards have been developed to allow you to store even more ...

* Say XD (instead of cheese) . .
Advantages: Getting cheap now. Disadvantages: None unless you lose one.
These cards are 2Gb XD memory cards made by Fujifilm, they are the latest in the line of a new storage system. XD stands for eXtreme Digital, the cards are made for digital cameras, plus other devices like digital voice recorders.
The cost of these is very competitive, you can buy them for about £22 online. Remember though, this is plus P&P of course. You can buy them on the high street as well of course, but at a much higher price. They are often ... ...20 mm x 25 mm x 1.78 mm, and each card weighs 2.8 grams.
You also have the option of going for non branded cards, although I would not use anything but original cards in my camera. You then are safe in the knowledge, that you have the genuine item, and your warranty is still valid. There are two types of these XD cards, M and H type. They each have a slightly different method of digitally encoding, but that does not concern us, they are completely ...
