Little soldiers of the data storage world
Advantages: Reliable, very very reliable Disadvantages: Some card readers just cant keep up with how good the larger cards are (over 2 gig)
Sandisk SD cards. Well first of all I'm amazed at just how cheap these things are nower days. I paid only £1.50 for my 2 gigabite card and only £4.50 for my 8 gigabite card. Ever since buying my latest camera and getting a free Sandisk 1 gigabite SD card with it I have never even considered buying any other. They work perfectly in all applications I have come across. I generally use the 8 gig version with my camera but also use this 2 gig one when ... ...in mind when choosing a Sandisk or any other SD card is that in many card readers and some other devices, they tend to struggle above 2 gigabites and often will refuse to read them at all. So with that in mind this particular card is my most strongly recommended for almost all potential buyers. ...

Fast Access SD Card
Advantages: 4GB, ESP Technology, RescuePRO Disadvantages: None
The Sandisk Extreme III 4 GB Compact Flash Card is ideal for digital camera's and camcorders. I needed some extra memory for my digital camera so bought this.
Sandisk have a good reputation in developing flash memory cards so I thought I would go for this. With my digital camera I had a supplied 1GB card which to be honest isn't much when taking high resolution photos, it fill up pretty quick.
The Sandisk SD card is a good size at 4GB storage. ... ...2 cm
Overall the Sandisk Extreme III 4 GB Compact Flash Card is perfect to replace your old SD card or simply an upgrade from a lower storage size. You will definitely notice a difference when running this card as it works without any glitch at a good speed too. I got this card from Ebay for around £5 inc. p&p usually retails at around £10. ...

512MB: Saved Moments
Advantages: good space, not too pricey Disadvantages: -
...and so on but the Kingston ones seemed to be coming up a lot in my searches and I had heard of them before for USB drives and they seem to have a good name behind them. Their memory cards come in all sizes from 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and the one I have 512MB which is probably one of the smallest but it is fine for me for now.
Most Kodak cameras will accept an SD card but there are other types as you will see when you go to print off your photos. On the side ... ...is the white text saying Kingston 512MB. There is also a little arrow on the card which makes it obvious which way you insert the card into your equipment.
As said above this card can be inserted into all photo printing machines which makes taking pictures easy because you no longer have to wait a day to get photos back worrying about damaged negative. As soon as the card is inserted it tells you how many photos are on the card, you can then view ...

...of old cameras. SanDisk have long had a reputation for producing high-quality, reliable memory cards, and even their basic models (which are blue) uphold this... so long as you don't fall into the trap, as too many have, of being suckered into buying a startlingly cheap card on eBay which all too quickly proves to be a pirate copy. The same warning in spades applies with these Ultra II cards, whose main selling point is speed, and frankly I'd advise ... ...data than standard cards from SanDisk or other manufacturers: their 9MB/second write speed is sufficient that I can happily use continuous shooting mode non-stop until the card is full, whereas a standard card has to stop for a breather after a dozen or so shots. This makes a huge difference when photographing animals, sportspeople or other fast-moving subjects. Since the point of a memory card is that it spends its time inside your camera, questions ...

Great value, fast, reliable SD card
Advantages: Cheap as chips. Great connectivity. Disadvantages: None
...and eventually settled on the Transcend 2Gb SD Card. Why did I go for this card? Because it was much cheaper than similar cards offering exactly the same features. I got for a bargain price on Amazon from Jersey.
Even when my Panasonic FZ18 is switched onto the highest quality mode it can store over 500 JPEG images. While inside my little Vivitar it will hold over 3000 images. More than enough to meet my needs.
If you have a card reader on your ... ...I have been using the Transcend card for 9 months now without any problems at all. It's in and out my camera at least once a week and the casing and connections still look good as new. Don't accept the first price Amazon throws up at you, look below at "What customers ultimately buy" and you'll often see the exact same card for a fraction of the price.
I have no hesitation in recommending this card. ...
