Advantages: Strong Frame and Wheels, Tyres do not let go Disadvantages: None really!!
Bought this bike with my work cycle to work scheme.
A great buy from Halfords.
Excellent speck for the price and a very strong bike. I'm 18st 10 (253 ibs) and in my opinion this bike can handle this weight easily.
Great colour Black with like a Pearlesent White, Very good speck components, Shimano Deore derauillers and Sram Truvatic Crank.
Hydrolic Brakes and Discs. These will stop you instantly and do tare a little time to get used to or a flight over the bars could come along. These sqeak when covered in Muck and Water for the first few occasions, but when used this disapates.
Wheels are Alex DP17 rims, Strong, Maxxis Ingnitor Tyres Grip like hell.
Suntour XCR forks are ok for Cross Country riding, Not a great Jump fork, but hey Im no Jumper! (I think that if yoiu are lighter than me you could have some safe landings with these ...
This bike has a really good spec, XT rear mech excellent proformer the only thing that lets it down is the tyres they are a bit prone to punctures when used on road and are really only for off road use.
i think that the forks are a bit on the heavy side but still work grate. for the price range would be hard to beat this spec.
in my opinion the bikerides really well on cross country trails and is vary smooth and well balanced.
i have used my bike at local races and have found on the cross country races it take a lot of punishment and all ways comes back for more the only problem i've had during a race is the pedels came a bit lose but this did not stop me winning ...
Advantages: Makes Non-Cyclists Think. Free Event. Only ONE Sock Required. Disadvantages: Not Funny In Poor Weather. Not For the Prudish. Smacks of Sensationalism
Brighton on Saturday, 10th June 2006. It was a baking hot (28 deg.C) day, with not a cloud in the deep blue sky. Brighton was actually at its glorious best as we walked along Madeira Drive from the car park at the Marina to Steine Gardens in order to watch the BikeRide go by.

My wife was amused by the idea, I was more than a little curious and so we needed little encouragement to witness the mornings' events.
WHAT WAS "THE WORLD NAKED BIKERIDE" (WNBR) IN AID OF?
Well, from what I can gather, it was more of an organised protest than actually being "in aid" of anything. People have since asked me if it was some kind of charity fund raiser - no, there was no sign ...
