Disadvantages: I wish it was new and not 23 years old

I have owned this old Mercedes for 3 years now doing about 6,000 miles a year in it. If there is a car with a smoother ride than this I have yet to drive it. The engine is a 2.3 litre 4 cylinder(136 bhp). The designation CE marks this car out as the coupe version (2 doors). Driving: silky smooth, quiet as the grave. No squeaks or rattles. ...Exterior: This series of Mercedes (123) was the last to use significant amount of chrome. Chrome bumpers, chrome mirrors, lots of chrome detailing. The coupe has two massive doors that shut like vault doors. No wonder this series were known as "Panzerwagens". Review of Mercedes 230 CE

Luxurious old timer

Advantages: Great comfort, high spec, good economy
Disadvantages: Big and therefore difficult to park

...that I own, my prescious Mercedes 260e. I bought this for a bargain price of £750 and its only got 2 owners! Now this car is a 1989 F reg, but the spec is more impressive than that on my 2001 Vectra!!!! It has little luxuries like individual climate control for each side of the car and 4 electric windows + electric sunroof. Also it has a sports mode and economy mode headrests all round, lots of power with lots of economy, even down to little things ...
...getting through. The build quality of this is amazing, it's got 103,000 miles on the clock and it is still going strong. The engine is a monsterous 2.6 with automatic and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. And the comfort, well that is out of this world, it has a beautiful colour coded velour interior which is lovely and soft but you dont sink to far into it.
