Advantages: Good Looking, Cheap, Safe, Easy to Drive
Disadvantages: Suspension, Minor Inconveniences

The A140 is a great car to drive, the clutch is not too heavy, and generally has a laid back feel to it. The steering wheel is quite responsive making three point turns quite a doddle :) Boot space is great, however only when the rear seats are up or taken out, Then you have a really big boot that can fit all but the biggest and longest objects. ...out of the back window is literally where your car ends. So you can get into pretty small spaces that would seem impossible for other cars. Mercedes A160 - All things, for all men

Advantages: Interior Space, Visibility, Excellent engine & transmission
Disadvantages: Looks a bit like Camilla Parker-Bowles, head on.

A-180 CDi Avantgarde SE 3dr

Advantages: Looks, size, build quality, driving position, economy,
Disadvantages: Expensive, hard ride, front seats slightly lacking in lumbar support

...front tyres fitted by the Mercedes dealer next week. They quoted £94/tyre including VAT. Further update August 2009: Mileage 26000 (low for age of car) and the service indicator finally said another service was required. This is only the second service. Booked in at 0.5 days notice. A 190 Avantguard

Advantages: Light on fuel, easy parking, good on open road.
Disadvantages: Small boot space, but the size of the car is what it is.

A small giant

Advantages: Powerful compact car, Ample legroom, Good allaround visibility,reliable performance
Disadvantages: Expensive to maintain, suspension is a bit rough

The Mercedes A Class looks small from outside, but is very spacious inside. The engine is a powerhouse for such a small car. It is comfortable for 4 people and the legroom and headroom rivals many luxirious sedans. The auto transmission is smooth.
