... The car is put together well and Mercedes have done a good job, however it is starting to look and feel out of date know.
Servicing doesn't cost the earth too, and the dealers are generally good and do try their best.
Still a great buy, great value for money, mostly suited to town driving.

I have had my A160 for 6 months now, I purchased brand new and love it. Outside the shape is stylish and sleek with lovely set of alloys and that chrome exhaust tail pipe makes you wonder whats under that bonnet. Inside the dash isn't exactly trendy or flash, but it is high quality and practical with everything easy to reach. The seats are comfortable and tall people like me are easily accomadated. There is plenty of room in the back seats to and can fit 5 people at ease. This is the smallest car I've seen that can carry 5 people with comfort. The long wheel base offers more interior space, well worth it if you have a large family. The steering is light and responsive, can be height adjusted also. The handbrake however is placed in the most awkward place next to the arm rest, not easy to get to. I opted for the auto box, a four speed that copes well with city use, gear change is smooth and quiet. The engine is smooth and responsive, however it struggles at motorway speeds, it's not exactly fast, just adequate for town driving. Being a diesel, it returns approx 40mpg, quite good. Handling is also satisfactory, with some body roll around bends, not a sports car. Advantages: Low mpg Disadvantages: Short service intervals and high cost of services
Be very wary over servicing costs on this car.
It is going to cost you a bundle over the life of the car.
Notwithstanding it has less power than my lawnmower it is very economical on fuel.
It was recording better than 60 mpg on a run showing how gently it was driven and yet it still 'demanded' a service after only 11 months and 10600 miles.
Cost nearly £300.00.
During research prior to taking the thing on I found no mention on of yearly services ...
